a/n: okay y'all, so it's actually really hard to write action with wands and spells, which is why the action scenes don't make much sense if you look at it in the wizarding world, because not many spells are used? honestly that's what this fic is, it's basically hogwarts minus the excessive use of spells. sorry guys, i ain't no jk rowling. if you want legit action scenes, y'all should read doomsdays by kingsglaive, because no matter what she says, her action scenes will get you hyped and drive you to the end of the world in a state of insanity. #shamelessdoomsdayspromo
also warning for those of you who didn't know: there is underage drinking and also blood and violence in this chapter. if underage drinking bothers you, keep in mind that I tried six different types of tequila the other day at the age of 16 and DIDNT get drunk! go me! seriously though, the drinking in this chapter isn't even that big of a deal so if it triggers you then you can go read a 1D fluff story idk.
I also just realized that beaubaxtons is supposed to be spelled beauxbatons but you know what idc I'm too lazy to change it atm.
okay, on with the story. enjoy!

"Hongki, is everything okay?" Yoona asked anxiously as soon as the four of them exited the Great Hall, closing the doors behind them. "I heard about the attacks."
Hongki shook his head.
"They were here—Seunghyun's followers." He said. "They got into the school somehow, though I'm not sure how they managed to pull it off."
"Is it safe to be here?" Jonghyun asked, holding up a strong front despite the tense aura he gave off. "I don't want any of the students at risk, Hongki."
"I haven't broken the news yet." Hongki stated. "Only to some of the Heads of the Houses as well as those who were injured at the game. Our security is higher now, and I have you guys here with me to scope out any threats."
"We'll always be here to help, Hongki." Yoona smiled softly— something that Hongki found incredibly endearing. "We won't let your school remain in danger."
"Of course." Hyunah added in. "We'll get to the bottom of this."
"One question," Jonghyun suddenly interrupted, turning the attention of the remaining three professors to him, "the Yule Ball is coming up, right? And-"
"You want Hyunah to go with you— yeah, yeah, we know." Yoona stated, taking note of the look of shock on Hyunah's face as her cheeks pinked slightly.
Hongki smiled. Only one man could affect Hyunah like that (as he'd learned over the many years the four had been together) and that man happened to be standing right in front of him.
Meanwhile, Jonghyun could only glare at Yoona before continuing, "I meant, if there really is a threat here at Hogwarts, don't you think they'd decide to attack at the ball? There are going to be hundreds of students there, so why wouldn't they?"
Hongki shook his head. "The intruders won't be able to get through to the ballroom. We know what they look like, and we - along with several others - will be patrolling the area."
Yoona and Hyunah nodded in agreement, whilst Jonghyun merely looked down at the ground, still feeling unsure.
"Oh dear," Yoona peered outside through a crack in the hard wooden door as a feminine shriek sounded, "was that a girl screaming? I think one of my students may have just encountered one of your many strange creatures, Hongki."
