Is it too weird that she's missing Lauren like this? Camila keeps on shrugging the feeling of irritation that she's feeling right now when she knew that Lauren left the office earlier than their usual time out. Their day in the field have been fun, thanks to constant teasing and playful bantering.

But all of that faded away when she came to the office and Lauren is nowhere to be found already. She asked Normani but the architect was also unaware of her friend's whereabouts.

"Hi." Lauren greeted Chris and Ariana as she opened the apartment's door widely to let them in.

Holding Ariana's hand, Chris hugged his sister with a sweet smile as Lauren hug him back. "Thanks again for this." He mumbled in her shoulder. "This is Ariana." He introduced her girlfriend who smiled shyly to the architect.

Well, she's kind of liking her brother's taste. They totally agree when it comes to petite and tan ones. She smirked, earning a playful glare from her brother.

"Hi, nice to finally meet you, Ariana." She greeted, outstretching her hand which Ariana took appreciatively.

"Nice to meet you too, Lauren. I'm really sorry for the inconvenience. I promise you I won't be a pain in the ass."

"No problem. I'll do everything for my future niece or nephew." She chuckled as they settled themselves in the living room. "Don't be afraid to ask me for anything okay, I'll be just one call away."

Ariana and Chris smiled at her appreciatively and continued on chatting since Chris skipped his class just to settle things in the apartment.

Apparently, Ariana is still also a student but had to stop schooling so she will have a stress-free pregnancy. They agreed that Chris have to visit her girlfriend every now and then and especially whenever Ariana needed her the most. She'll have the spare room of the apartment.

As the time pass by, Lauren and Ariana became comfortable with each other already. The petite girl is really easy to be with. And knowing that she is able to deal with Chris, she's expected to be able to deal with other Jauregui's also. She's positive the rest of her family will love Ariana.

"Hola!" Normani greeted her housemate, not realizing that they have other company in the kitchen. "Oh, hey Chris." She greeted. "And?" She shifted her eyes to the unfamiliar girl.

"Mani, this is Ariana." Lauren introduced her as the two nodded in acknowledgement. "She'll be taking the spare room."

Normani looked at her with furrowed eyes, confused with the sudden new housemate. "Uh, can I talk to you in private?" She whispered to Lauren.

Knowing exactly what she wanted to talk about, Lauren followed her upstairs in Normani's veranda. "What's happening Jauregui? Who's that girl? You know how much I like Camila and I don't want her be hurt like this." She accused Lauren, making the other architect roll her eyes.

"Geez, chill Mani." She started extending her arms to her confused friend. "She isn't my girlfriend or anything. She's Chris' girlfriend."

"Oh, thank God." Normani sighed in relief and Lauren chuckled a little then stepped back to go and lean on the railings.

"She's pregnant." She started.

"Don't tell me you're the father... or the mother." Normani joked, standing beside her friend.

Lauren smacked her and went to being serious again. "Chris said she was kicked out from her home so she needed a place to stay. I have to help my brother and she's carrying my future niece or nephew, so I decided to let her stay here for awhile. Is it okay for you?"

"Of course." She said reassuringly. "Does Mike and Clara knows this already?" She asked and Lauren shook her head negative.

"Chris asked to keep this a secret for now. So don't tell anyone, even the boys. I have to respect my brother's decision. You know, I'm pretty proud of that boy. He's totally grown up now."

"Oh, stop being sappy there Lauren, you're making me cry." Normani teased dramatically, earning a glare from her friend.

The two went downstairs to join the two. "Oh my gosh, if I have to deal with you two shoving your throat to each other, I won't let Chris come here often." Lauren grimaced and the two instantly broke their make out session with blushing faces.

"Congrats Chris and to you too, Ariana." Normani congratulated the two with a sweet smile and took her plate to eat with them.

The four chatted their night away until Chris has to leave. They bid their goodbye to each other as Chris promised to visit in the next day if he could. Normani also excused herself to go to sleep already, leaving Lauren and Ariana alone in the kitchen.

"Lauren?" Ariana called, after Lauren finished in washing the dishes. The architect took the stool across her and looked at her, signaling to continue.

"Thank you, really. If it wasn't because of you, I don't know where I will be spending my night." Lauren smiled at her as she brushed the back of Ariana's hand.

"Don't worry about it. And I'm sure Chris won't allow anything bad happen to you. That boy was a troublemaker since we were just kids, but when I saw him yesterday pleading for my help, I saw a man. And I think I should thank you for making him one."

"Well, we both grew because of one another. And this baby will surely make us more responsible even more." She side, smoothly rubbing her belly.

Lauren smiled at her sweetly, thinking how her brother is so lucky to have someone like Ariana. To have someone to be responsible and face different problems with.

As the thought crossed her mind, she sighed remembering how she has also been madly in love with someone in the past that she almost gave up everything, even her dreams. But not like her brother, that person broke her.

And now here's a certain intern that keeps on bugging, not only her mind but her heart and entire system also.

She doesn't know if her heart is ready for anything like love, but she doesn't want to skip the opportunity of having the girl.

She hopes it's worth the risk.
