"Are you okay?" Lauren decided to break the agonizing silence between them. They haven't been talking for the last 20 minutes now, and Camila still refuses to look at her like the road is more interesting to watch than her.
"No. Why?" Camila answered simply, not looking at Lauren. Thank god, they are almost at her apartment because Camila doesn't know if she can take another minute with Lauren in the car.
"Thank you." She mumbled, immediately unfastening the seatbelt when Lauren's car came to a stop. She didn't even bother looking at Lauren as grasped to open the door.
She's definitely not okay, Lauren can sense it. Was it still because of the phone call? She doesn't know, but it feels very weird seeing Camila like this. She's uncharacteristically silent just like she used to be when she's pissed off.
"Coffee!" Camila looked at Lauren in confusion when she heard the architect suddenly exclaimed. She furrowed her brows in complete loss to what Lauren means with it.
Coffee? Really Lauren? Well, that's the best idea she could come up for now. At least, she caught Camila's attention this time. That's enough, she thought.
"Could I come in for a cup of coffee?" She asked softly, looking at Camila with hopeful gaze. She even flashed her award winning pleading smile which is one of Camila's weaknesses.
"Why? I don't have coffee. And we literally just had coffee earlier." Camila said stubbornly, already ready to step outside of the car.
"Juice or anything would be fine." Lauren tried again, looking at Camila. The intern flinched when Lauren held her shoulder, so the architect retracted her hand defeatedly. She hopes the intern would let her in because worst case scenario, she'll force herself in. She won't though, she's too scared for that.
"I don't have any of those too." Camila denied her again. Lauren sighed defeatedly and broke her stare. Bowing her head down, Lauren pouted sadly, already knowing that she won't get to talk to the intern.
Can she not pull that pout and sad puppy eyes right now? Camila feels guilty like she did something wrong to Lauren when it should be the other way around. She shouldn't feel sorry to the architect, she should be mad at her.
However, Camila is Camila and she can never resist Lauren when she looks like a lost puppy. Just this one last time, she tried to rationalize. Staring at the door handle and back to Lauren, Camila concluded she can spare the architect this one last time. A little drink won't hurt, right? She convinced herself. "I have vodka, though. You want--"
"Yes!" Lauren answered immediately, almost too excitedly, cutting Camila off. Her face lit up and a huge grin crept to her face when she looked at the intern who was clearly surprised.
Camila can't help but shake her head in amusement to Lauren's immediate answer. But nonetheless, the two went inside. This is gonna end in two ways, Camila thought nervously. But for now, she needs something to drink named Glenda aka something intoxicating.

Lauren found out that Camila's kitchen is full of everything she denied to have. The coffee, coffee maker, and even a pitcher of orange juice is staring, judging her. She groaned, realizing that Camila just really don't want her.
And as her eyes roamed around in search of the owner of the huge apartment, Lauren finally spotted Camila bending over to get something from a drawer not too far from her. Her tight red office dress made it hard for Lauren not to think on how she wanted to touch those perfect Cuban ass. Keep your shit together Lauren, she reminded herself.
