"Good morning." Lauren greeted her favorite intern as she entered her office. She immediately pouted seeing Camila slump on her chair, burying her face in her palms and totally ignoring Lauren. "Good morning Camila." She greeted again, assuming that Camila didn't hear her at first.
"Good morning Lauren." The intern greeted back with a timid and hoarse voice that Lauren is not sure why. The last time she saw Camila was when she dropped her to her apartment, and that was just last Friday night. What happened between the two days of being apart from her?
"What happened?" Lauren asked worriedly as she put her bag on her table and stood beside the intern to take a good look. She looks like she just got out from a mental facility with how haggard she is. Haggard yet still gorgeous in Lauren's eyes.
"Nothing. Just had a rough night last night." Camila sighed and immediately wrapped her arms around Lauren's waist, wanting to feel the comfort she needed she expected the architect will give to her. She soon frowned when Lauren flinched and broke the hug. Well she's not too surprised, though. She's too tired to mind with the issue of Lauren avoiding intimate contact with her again.
"What happened last night?" Lauren asked again, now having a good distance from Camila. Trust her, she wants to hug the intern so bad, but the other side of her says she needs to think all of this through and not act on impulse again.
"I told you, it's just nothing." Camila said dismissively and turned around to her table, not wanting to talk any further anymore. Having Lauren should be making her feel all good, but now it makes her insecure even more.
Lauren knows why Camila is suddenly ignoring her, and she can't really blame her for acting like that. The intern has been deprived of physical contact from her for two days, they can rarely talk in the past weekend because Lauren has to work on the Thailand project with Harry, Lauren keeps her distance whenever they are with in the public and with their friends, and now she can't even give comfort to the girl she confessed she likes just few weeks ago.
With a loud sigh, Lauren went to back to her table and shook her head in disappointment as she watch Camila slump on her table.

"Jemima please cancel all my appointment for the rest of the day. Camila and I will be going somewhere." Lauren called from her office line.
Camila immediately looked up in confusion with Lauren's sudden change of plans. "Where are we going?" She asked, knowing that they should be planning for the proposals today. Not that she's keeping tracks of Lauren's whereabouts like a girlfriend, but she knows Lauren have 3 important meetings today.
Lauren looked at her and flashed a smile that Camila annoyingly loves. Can she not be that charming? Camila can't even be so mad with her that long.
"Just come with me." And with that, the two went out with nothing but Lauren's car keys and purse. She doesn't exactly know where she should take Camila, but it feels like she should do something for her slumping intern.
"Where are they going?" Normani asked their office assistant, spotting the two exit the building.
"Lauren just instructed me to cancel all her meetings." Jemima shrugged.
"Even the meeting with Thailand project?"
"She told me all the meetings, so I guess that's included."
"Interesting." Normani hummed with a smirk on her face. It looks like Lauren has a sudden change of priorities right now. Thailand was Lauren's first priority and never lets anything distract her from the project. Well, Normani's not totally opposed to it, heck she even supports it. If this is how Camila affects her best friend, she's all for it.
