A father lost his little daughter, to find in his broken heart

Love for her renew, so every girl he bequeathed fresh start

One hundred and eleven trees he seeded, with a mother's love the earth

To teach by his example just how precious is every daughter's worth

With his loss profit brought he to all his village peers

A visionary seeing past his pain made present of his tears

Resource for every daughter is his loving living legacy

Such men are rarely feted by pulp press-fed fallacy

Easier to portray to the world that India's men are brute

So celebrate instead the best of Mother India's fruit

With the sweetness of aam, from mental slavery unfetter

With neem bitter medicine, many lives make better

With sheesham so strong , give shade and shelter

With amla to all life's tastes, calming every welter

With India's trees Shyam Sundar brought hope's ray

Kiran's memory life brings with every passing day!
