Don't You Do That Again (Zack Merrick All Time Low)

Chapter 2

Zack helps me stand up. I start to play with the hem of my sweater's sleeve as he hands me my Hot Topic bag.

"Thank you for helping me. I probably would of passed out." I smile at him as I take my bag.

"No problem. I know someone who has panic attacks, so I know what to do," he smiles and take out his phone, "Can I have your number? I would like to meet up some other time."

He looks nervous so I grab his phone. Plus, who could say no to a guy this cute. I enter my digits. I hand him his phone back, smiling. I don't know what else to say.

"I'll text you later so you can have my number. Does that sound good," he looks at me. I just nod, and Zack smiles, "Well, I have to go meet up with my friends. See ya later." He waves and runs off before I could say anything.

I thought today would be terrible, but I got something amazing out if it. I smile to myself.

*Zack's POV*

After saying goodbye to Larken, I run off to meet with the guys since we had band practice today. I didn't think to day was going to good, but I met an adorable girl. I'm really happy that I helped her or I wouldn't of got her number. I smile to myself as I walk through the door.

When I arrive at the studio, I see that everyone has already arrived. Now I to get yelled at.

"Where have you been? We have been waiting for 10 minutes." Jack yells as he puts his hands in his hips.

"Don't be mad, but I was helping this girl out at the mall. She was having a panic attack. I couldn't just ignore her." I look at Jack, Rian, and Alex. They all nod.

"Well, thats understandable. Now, lets get started." Alex says clapping his hands together.

We work on a storyline for our next song, then the lyrics. After working for three hours, we take a break. Which is good since i'm not the best at lyrics.

"So, who is this girl you met at the mall?" Rian asked wiggling his eyebrows at me.

"Her name is Larken. She is so pretty, like beautiful. I also got her number." I smile and wave my phone.

"Dude, thats great. When are you going to text her?" Jack ask smiling at me.

"I don't really know. I don't want it to seem to soon." I look at Alex hoping he would help me.

"I would do it after band practice. I don't feel like thats too soon. But, who knows? Can we get back to the beats? I want to finish at least in song today." He smiles and looks back at the music sheets. We all nod and began working again.

*After Band Practice*

I take out my phone and look for Larken's number. She put it in under 'Lark'. I guess she goes by something shorter. I type 'Hey, its Zack.' I put my phone back in my pocket as I sit down next to Jack. My phone buzzes. I didn't expect her to answer that fast.

(L= Larken Z= Zack)

L: Hey. I just want to thank you again for today. ;-)
Z: Don't worry about it.

"Guys, should I ask her what she is doing?" They all nod.

Z: Dont worry about it. What are you doing?
L: Watching a movie. You?
Z: Well, I just got done with band practice.
L: Cool. What type if music do you play?
Z: We play mostly pop punk or rock pop.
L: Amazing. What is your group's name?
Z: All Time Low
