Brielle
Getting on my clothes, I wonder if Dallas will actually show up to walk me to school. Why would he waste his time on me? He couldn't be serious right?
Besides I'm a little on the border with him right now. Russel didn't put him in a good light, but Russel might not be telling the full truth. He wasn't the most honest boy I've met.
Once I'm all ready and I make my way downstairs and grab my bag. "Bye Dad!" I shout since he's still eating his breakfast. "Bye sweetie!" He answers back.
Closing my front door, I see him standing there. Dressed in what seems to be his usual attire. White tee, black leather jacket, and some beat up blue jeans. Putting out his cigarette, he smiles at me. Not a smirk, a smile.
Meeting him at the end of my drive way, he wraps an arm around my shoulder, "Hey doll, you look lovely today."
"Dallas, are you being serious? You don't have to be my boyfriend. Besides it's not like I'm your type anyways." I mumbled the last part, but I think he heard me. We start to walk, but Dallas talks back.
"I'm always serious, besides it will be fun. You get rid of your ex and get to date me! And I get to see that soc all butt hurt and date a hot soc. Win win!"
Shaking my head and laughing a little at his compliments, I keep my head down. He stops walking when we get to the crosswalk and lifts my face to meet his. "Now look here. Don't get all weird and stuff, I don't date weird. You have nothing to fear, cause you have Dallas Winsto on your arm. Now let's go or else you'll be late."
As we walk we get to know each other a little more. I found out he's from New York, but came here a few years ago. Met the gang and they have been his family. I tell him about my vanilla life and a little about my family. "So is it true that you like to cause trouble? I've heard some talk about you, and how the police know you by name."
He chuckles and that and gives me a dashing smile. "Yes it is, but I'm not all bad." He doesn't say much on that, and we are already arrived at my school. I've already earned some confused looks.
Stopping in front of my school steps, I turn and look at him. "Thanks for walking me. Have a good day Dallas."
He puts his arm on my shoulder and hugs me close. When he realizes me he sees me giving him a raised eyebrow. "What's that for? You didn't expect to leave me hanging did you? Besides your little ex over there is watching."
Side glancing at the parking lot, there's Russ glaring at Dallas. Sighing, I turn back and face Dallas. He smirks at me, "I know you aren't one to be extreme so you can just give my cheek a k-"
Taking his face in my small hands I bring his lips down to mine. Right away he kisses back even though he's pretty surprised by my bold move. We soon part, and he's full on beaming. "Or you could just do that. Wow you are a good kisser."
"Thanks, you're not to bad yourself. See ya later boyfriend." With that I pat his chest and slam it skip into my school building. He plays it off cool and starts to walk to wherever he's going.
What the heck is happening to me? While making my way down I see my best friend Hamilton at my locker, and I smile at him. "Hey Ham what's up?"
"Oh nothing," He says, leaning on the wall. "Except my best friend is kissing a total hot bad boy of Tulsa. So I guess that's something."
"I'll explain as we walk to class."

Making my way to the back table I see a furious looking Ponyboy glaring at me. It's weird since he's never like this. Maybe he gets a little pouty, but he's usually in a good mood.
Taking my seat next to him I start to organize my stuff. I'll let him speak first since he seems like he needs to get something off his chest.
Soon enough he does. "You and Dally huh? When did this happen, and why?!" He started to catch attention of incoming students, which I didn't need.
I start to explain everything, just like I had to do with Hamilton this morning. Making sure to say everything was a little hard since Pony would try to always ask a question every second.
At the end his mouth his open and his eyes wide. "Dally is dating you? He doesn't date girls and doesn't walk them to school. He doesn't even try to help them, but he is for you? What the hell is going on with him?"
Just simply shrugging my shoulders, j don't really know what to say to that. It's not like I really knew why he wanted too. "I don't know Pony, but I don't think it will last long. I bet he gets bored in a week, at most, and moves on. Hopefully Russel will move on."
As the bell rings, Ponyboy looks deep into my eyes being serious. "Even though he's like my family, I will beat his ass if he hurts you."
Trying to hold back my laughter since his is being serous I smile at him. "Thanks Ponyboy, I appreciate it."
