Brielle
With all the loud music, horny teenagers, and tons of alcohol doesn't seem like the best thing to be doing on my Friday night. But of course I stand in the kitchen of a crowded house, trying to dodge everyone while keeping my beer intact.
It's been a long couple weeks and I just wanted to go home and sleep. Dallas thought it'd be great for us to go out, but I don't see him anywhere near me.
Of course this all happens to me, making the urge to just leave this party right now.
I should at least try and look for Dallas in this mess of people. So that's what I set out to do, and for the next ten minutes, that's what I did. Walking outside for the third time, I was thankful to find him.
Breathing a sigh of relief I walk over to him, and notice he's with a group of guys. Taking a seat down next to him, I could tell he's had a few drinks, but wasn't drunk yet. Yet was the key word here.
"Hey, where have you been?" He asks kissing me on the cheek, which causes the boys to whistle and mutters things. No surprise there.
I sigh wiping my hair out of my face, "Oh ya know just flirting with guys since you where no where to be found." In that moment I realized how mad I was with Dallas. I feel as if at every party we go to he manages to ditch me, and I'm sick of it.
His friends chorus with shocked expressions, making Dallas turn sour. Standing up, he grabs my arm and drags me away. "What the hell was that?" He snarls at me, creating a grimace from me.
"I'm pissed at you! All you ever do is ditch me when we go to these things!" My voice gets louder, but I don't care who hears me.
He narrows his eyes at me, before speaking. "Why are you being so dramatic?! God, you are so annoying. Maybe I should find a girl that's not as up tight-" That's when I slapped him across the face.
He holds his cheek for a second, then turning his ablaze eyes at me. I knew he wouldn't strike back, but I didn't know what else he would do in this moment.
I speak before he could do anything, "Sorry to inform you, but I'm dumping your greaser ass Dallas Winston." Words flew before I could catch them back in. Thinking was not an option for me now at this current situation.
Now he gives me a sinister smirk. "Oh really? You can't break up with me, I'm Dallas Winston." He takes a step towards me, making me take a step back. When he goes to speak again, but I hear another voice.
"I think it's best if you just leave her alone bud." I know that voice from anywhere. Dallas gives another glare to Royce who stands tall next to me. Once again Dallas goes to speak, but he was once again cut off. "I don't care what you have to say, because she's not yours anymore. I suggest you don't bug her again."
Next thing I know I'm intertwining my fingers with his and we make our way leaving the party. Leaving the house we keep walking in silence for a while.
Just the noises of cars driving by, people laughing as they walk, and cold steady breeze flowing through. The silence gave me time to think and breath. He seemed to notice that since he just kept holding my hand not saying a word.
"Want to grab a root beer float?" He asks as we wait at a crosswalk, keeping his gaze forward. It surprised me that he remembered I loved those things. I don't have them much anymore, for specific reasons. When I don't answer him after we crossed, he turns to me with a classic smirk, "Don't worry, I'll buy."

Sitting in our usually booth, I look across at the boy in front of me. We both have our floats, and we haven't said much since we've got here. I'm not sure how much I want to talk to him since I'm trust with him is petty low.
He sighs and slumps looks out the window next to us. I decide to sip my drink and twirl about my straw. Royce then looks back at me. "Look I know your not my biggest fan, but I hate what happened between us."
If you want to know so badly, I'll tell you the whole story. It was last year,
Royce was a dear friend of mine, and we did flirt with each other, but it was harmless. At this time in life Russel was taking me out on dates, but we were not official yet.
Royce was my best friend, not including Hamilton, and I trusted him with everything. Then the night before he left, we met down at the lake. He told me that he loved me, and kissed me goodnight, escaping before I could say much.
The next day I found out he left, so I started an official relationship with Russel to hide my broken heart.
Royce gave me everything, but then swept it all out from under me. I gave him everything too, but it doesn't matter anymore.
"You left me after you told me you loved me."
"I know, and I want to fix all my mistakes."
