Brielle
After we finished dinner, Dallas told us he better get going since he had to help do the clean up shift at his work tonight.
He thanked my mother for the lovely dinner and she blushed welcoming him. Just as I was going to open the door for him to leave, my Dad strides over to us.
They shake hands giving each other a respectable nod. I smile and the simple action, it made me pretty happy. Dallas gives him a small smile, "I'm very thankful to be dating your daughter sir, and I will make sure to treat her right."
"You better son or we'll have some problems. I'm just glad you make her happy, have a goodnight."
Dallas says goodbye and he kisses me goodnight. With that he's making his way down the way and I close the door. Facing my family, I smile at them. "So what do y'all need to say?"
Mom looks up at Dad with a wide grin. Dad looks down at her jokily shaking his head at her with an amused look. They both seem to share something between them, and they both turn back to look at me.
Dad looks over at me, "I like him, and I guess I'll give him my approval." Jumping up and down I run over and hug them close.
Laughing along with my Mom, I part to face them. "You have no idea how happy that makes me. Have a goodnight family!" I go up the stairs and lay down on my bed, sighing softly to myself.

Tapping my pencil on my notebook, I look up at the board to keep up with my notes. My English teacher's class was usually interesting, but not today.
I couldn't wait to just go home and relax, to have some time to myself. This past two weeks have been stressful enough for me. I put all my energy into school to made sure I didn't fall behind, but I basically put myself ahead.
Hearing the bell ring I get up and scramble over to my locker. As I was organizing it, I see Hamilton come over to me. "Hey what are you doing after school today?"
I respond with just a simple shrug, and he nods his head while adjusting his backpack strap. Closing the door we walk down the hall together and he wraps his arm around my shoulder.
"When was the last time we hung out with just us?" He asks me. I didn't have to think long to answer his question, "We hung out three nights ago just us. We also eat lunch with each other everyday. I think you are a little too clingy."
I laugh pushing him away from me, but of course his body his built like a wall. Pulling me closer to him, and we both laugh.
Stopping at his class, he lets me go. "Let's go get out after school today!" I laugh at him and shake my head. "Don't you have work today?"
He groans and throws his head back, "I forgot, damn. Well I guess we'll have to reschedule for another time. See ya later." He kisses the top of my head and then heads off into his classroom.
I then make my way down the halls and think what I should do today. Maybe Ponyboy would want to study?

"Get off of me you bafoon!" Johnny yells at Pony who was sitting on him on the couch. Steve picked up Pony by the shirt hood and moved him to the end of the couch.
Shaking my head at the boys, I put my focus back into the work I front of me, finishing the last of my math problems.
Collecting my work I start to shove it all into my bag before laying down on the couch next to Steve and Johnny.
As I do Dally strolls on in with an amused grin on his face. "Hey Dal!" Everyone seems to chorus together and he walks over giving me a quick kiss. "Hey guys let's go to the drive in tonight."
Soda groans, "We always go there!" Dallas shoots him a glare, but Two-bit was quick to speak up with another solution. "I have an idea!"
