18~Can't Sleep Comfort

Logan's pov

I pouted watching Axel he was sound asleep like I had been a short time ago but I woke up because Crimson was kicking my ribs and since then I haven't been able to sleep so I've been watching him

I was disappointed with Lion ,my stuffie, for not doing his job and helping me sleep I sighed I guess lions didn't make good sleep buddies

I wanted to sleep peacefully like Axel too and If couldn't sleep I wanted to wake him up to be awake with me but I couldn't do that he has work at his shop and at the body shop and I think Mike wanted us to watch Estelle so he and Lana could take Dean to the zoo ,for better bonding, he had a full day ahead of him it wouldn't be right if I woke him he even went to bed early for his day ahead

Yet... I couldn't stop myself

"Axel...?" I whispered if heard me and he woke up he wanted too... or at least I could tell myself that

"Babe...?" I wiggled closer to him his face twitched

"Axel?" I asked louder than a whisper

"Mmm? Logan..." he mumbled

"Dadddyyyyy" I poked him he tightened his grip on me pulling me closer he put his face in my neck it was probably his way of comforting me probably thinking I was dreaming which had me wondering if I had ever called out for him in my sleep before

I smiled and stroked my fingers through his hair

"Daddy" I whined softly needing his attention

"Logan?" He mumbled he pulled away from my neck slowly he peeked at me his eyes barely open "sweetie why are you up?" his raspy voice made me close my eyes just to have more focus on his words "mmm?" He reminded me to answer

"I can't sleep" I whispered he rubbed my side

"Is it the baby?" He sat up some on his elbow

I nodded he frowned and rubbed my bump "oh bad baby keeping mummy awake" he sighed and kissed my cheek "how long have you been up?"

"Almost an hour..." I mumbled looking down playing with the sheet

"Mmm" he cupped my cheek and chin he made me look up at him "would you like some milk and cookies? Or some honey and lemon?" I nodded

"Both" he chuckled softly and forced himself to sit up he looked at his clock ,1:47, he rubbed his face and stood up groaning he walked over to my side and picked me up with a tired grunt

"Come on darling" he rubbed my back and carried me down he kissed me softly "I feel her kicking" he mumbled to me he sat me on the island and rubbed my thighs "uhh" he closed his eyes and took a second to remember what was going on but never stopped rubbing my thighs "cookies and milk first"

He walked to our pantry and pulled out the Oreos and the chips ahoy holding them up for me to choose "umm cookie" I smiled he nodded and pulled out 2 from the chips ahoy putting both packages back he pulled out a plate and set them on it he grabbed a princess cup and put it down he pulled out the gallon of milk and poured me a cup then put the jug back grabbing them both he set them down next to me

"Eat up cutie fill your tummy and hopefully she'll fall asleep if not that honey and lemon will help you sleep for sure Mum used to do that when we were kids" he yawned "and maybe we'll do it for Grim when she can't sleep" he wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my bump cuddling into it

I looked at him smiled widely he looked like he was falling asleep on my thigh hugging my bump I felt bad he was so tired "I'm sorry I woke you" I mumbled covering my mouth so cookie pieces didn't fall out

"It's okay I just want you and the baby happy and that means mummy needs her sleep too" he was cuddled into my bump so much his lips rubbed my shirt 

"You're the bestest" I praised then finished my first cookie he smiled and Crimson started to kick at his face he only laughed softly and kissed at the kicks

"You woke up mummy you naughty little girl" he talked to her

I watched and ate my second cookie "when we have Estelle tomorrow I'd like if we could go out to eat less stress to have to cook and watch her and I know you'll be tired" he nodded

"Very thoughtful Baby Doll" the tone in his voice told me he was barely keeping himself awake

"I finished" I sucked my bottom lip he nodded and stood up again blinking a few times he grabbed the jar of honey and took out a spoon taking a spoon full then walked to the fridge and grabbed a lemon he cut it into slices and squeezed one on the spoon of honey he walked over holding the spoon to me his hand underneath it I happily took the bite and curled my toes scrunching up my face at the lemon and honey sour to sweet contrast he chuckled and put the spoon in the sink along with the cup and plate

"Ready to try to go to bed again?" I nodded and kissed him he picked me up

"Axel?" I smiled

"Mhm?" He hummed back swaying as he walked due to his tiredness

"I think I wanna try and make things up with Dad w-would you be willing to try again?" He stood in the middle of the hallway he stared straight ahead then look at me attached to his hip

"Baby Doll I'm willing to do anything to make you happy ,within reason of course" he smiled finally but only for a minute "I think that's a brilliant idea but this all depends on your father I don't like being punched in the face regardless of how times it's happened and I really don't like the cops being called on me so if those things are guaranteed not to be repeated I'd take the man home and plop him on my couch"

I smiled widely and opened my mouth only for him to say...

"But it's not and I want you and I safe I'm willing but I need it to be in public with a crowd of people because just family isn't enough for him to control himself not saying anything bad about your father Logan Im not because he is family and he has been known for his temper and Me for mine"

I looked his shoulder it was bare plain skin of course there was muscle tone but it was just an empty spot of skin for that moment though it was very interesting

"Baby Doll?" His tone was one of warning "I didn't mean to upset you but those are my terms and I'm not budging he may be your father but you are the mother to my child and are soon to be my wife I put you and your safety above all else" I nodded I kissed his arm

"I know we can do it some where public we can do it in the food court of the mall there are lots of people and cops are always in there having lunch he won't act up too much" I smiled when he nodded and rubbed my back

"Good thank you" he walked again and laid me in bed getting in after and pulling up the covers he kissed me and pulled me against him then bit his lip

"I wanna hold your bump I almost fell asleep in your lap I was comfy can I sleep by your bump please?" I smiled as he playfully pouted

"Yes babe go head" I nodded he kissed me then wiggled himself down some so his cheek was pressed against the top of my bump and his arms were around my waist I stroked his hair and yawned

Axel would kiss every few minutes making me smile but slowly it became harder to stay awake I was dozing off and so was he but when he hummed our song deeply and slowly that was it I passed out
