Chapter five: They came back

Your POV:
You woke up and realized it was almost time for you to make breakfast. You threw on some clothes real quick, deciding to take a shower later. You brushed your hair and put it in a ponytail. You came down the stairs and headed to the kitchen.

The kids at the orphanage love your cooking and you love cooking for them. It makes you feel needed.

Elliott, a seven year old boy, came running into the kitchen excitedly.

"Y/n! Y/n! Y/n! Guess what!" He yelled.

"What is it Elli?" You asked.

"I made a new friend at school today. She's my bestest friend ever." he said happily.

"she...?" You teased. You smell romance.

"shush y/n! It's not like that. Her name is Riley and she's just my friend." he said embarrassed.

"If you say so." You teased again.

"What's for breakfast anyways?" he changed the subject.

"Bacon and eggs. And toast if you want it."

He hummed in response and it was quiet until everyone came down. They started useless chatter until you placed the food on the table. You mostly got thank you's,but there was this one teen who thought she was the best in this whole place.

You placed the food in front of her. She took a bite and spat it out.

"This is absolutely disgusting. Are you trying to poison me?" she said.

"No. I'm trying to feed you. But you can not eat if you prefer it that way." You told her. She rolled her eyes and stood up and walked out of the room. You soon followed suite after washing the dishes.

You changed into some black sweat pants with gold lining and a green plain sweatshirt. These were your favorite colors. They reminded you so much of him. You decided to read a book while you had time.

You heard a knock on the door and assumed it was nothing. You returned to reading.

" SHE KNOWS WHO WE ARE. SO JUST TELL HER WE'RE HERE AND YOU WONT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS." Someone yelled in anger. Youknow that voice.

You knocked down your vase of flowers, and then dropped your book, then slammed your door, slipped and ran into a wall and as you ran down the you started to yell.

"I KNOW THAT VOICE ANYWHERE! LOKIIIIIIII!" You were so happy. And you ran down the stairs. You were almost in tears. Loki ran up to you and picked you up and swung you around. You started crying and was a bumbling mess.

"I-i thought you left me forever." You said into Loki's neck. You were wrapped around Loki like a koala so he couldn't leave. Your legs wrapped around his waist and your arms around his neck. Your face still stuck in his neck.

"We will always come back to you y/n." You heard Thor say. You looked up and your eyes widened. You didn't know he came too.

"You came back too Thor?" You questioned.

"Of course I would. I missed you, and we both know we can't leave Loki on his own. He uses brute force instead of talking." He said and laughed. You laughed too.

"You're right. But that's what makes him Loki." You said. You now realized the caretaker had left to give us privacy.

Since they were still in their armor you had decided to take off Loki's helmet to wear it. It was your favorite of his armor.

"I missed you." Loki said to you.

"I missed you too, Loki." You said back.
