Chapter 12:Royal Food Fight

Loki's POV:
I can't believe I told her! Why would I do that, she could never like a man like me. She is pure. I will taint her and she will not be perfect anymore. She deserves better than me.

Those were my first thoughts as I woke up.

But I'm selfish. I love her and I hope one day she will love me back.

Maybe if I do things for her she will love me. You know what, I will make her breakfast in bed. She'll love it. I just know it. I think determined.

I jumped out of bed. I will make her eggs and pancakes. I know she likes those because I would make them for her when I stayed with them.

I just walked down to the kitchens in my nightclothes which are just sweatpants, as y/n likes to call them. No shirt, I'm a prince and can do what I want. Plus my heart belongs to y/n.

When I walk into the kitchen I walk in like I work there regularly. No one is phased as I am always there. I even have my own space. I love cooking. I walk into the back room and set out the ingredients. As I am cracking eggs into the batter a pair of arm wrap around my waist. I jump in suprise and look around me.

It was y/n. I smiled. She smiled back just as happily. It was comfortable silence as I went back to cooking.

Crack...

Suddenly there was something dripping down my head and onto my neck. I know it was y/n who did it and unbeknown to her I grabbed a handful of flour and turned around quickly and threw it at her. She gasped in suprise.

She threw another egg and itnturned into a giant food fight of eggs and flour. As she ran around the kitchen, her laughter filling the room with joy, she fell foreward. I ran towards her and dived under her to catch her.

She landed on me and surprisingly I wasn't in any pain. She then started to ramble out apologies.

"I'm so sorry! You didn't have to catch me. You're probably in so much pain right now and its all my fault. Im so-" I cut her off by placing my hand on her mouth and she closed her mouth.

I smiled at her.

"I will always catch you when you fall no matter what. No complaining. And I am in no pain at all. You are as light as a feather. And it definitely is not your fault." I told her.
She smiled at me and looked happy. Then she turned bright red as she realized the position we were in.

She was stradeling my waist and her hands were sprawled out on my bare chest that was covered in eggs and flour.

Now was the perfect time to show her how I feel. I should kiss her.

But she beat me to it. She leaned down and pressed her soft lips to mine. It was just a peck but it felt like heaven. I needed more.

I leaned upwards, with my  arms wrapped around her waist, as I kissed her. Longer this time, and we both melted into it. I smiled and backed away for air. I nuzzled her neck and breathed in her scent. I wanted this moment to last forever. But unfortunately everything must come to an end.

Right as my mother burst into the room.
