Chapter 14: Shopping trip Part 1

Y/n's POV:
Thor was sitting with you in the lounge room (I tried to make living room sound fancy). He was doing a good job at keeping you distracted.

Thor looked excited for a moment and asked you...

"Do you want to meet my girlfriend?" He asked.

"Yes, I would love to." You answered.

"Well, we are going to take a trip to see her." He said suspiciously.

"Thor... Where does she live?" You asked.

"Midgard..." He said sheepishly.

You laughed.

"Well then. What are we waiting for? Let's go." You said excitedly.

Still your pov
We landed in the middle of a small town near New York. He led me a couple hundred yards to a small and cozy house. It looked so sweet.

Thor knocked and a girl wearing a beanie opened the door.

"Well, well, well, lookie who we have here." She said in a creepy voice. Then she laughed.

"My name is Darcy. Pleasure to meet you." Darcy said.

"Okay who are you and what did you do with darcy?" Thor questioned immediatly.

"Calm down Thor. Im sure she was just being nice." You said to Thor. Then you turned to darcy.

"Im y/n. Nice to meet you." She smiled at you.

"I assume you're here to see Jane. She isn't here right now. She went out with Erik to go check out some earthquake though. She left last week. She should be back today though. Do you mind staying?" Darcy explained.

"That's all right. We dont mind." Thor said.

"I would offer some food. But I can't cook." Darcy said.

"I can cook if you'd like." You said.

"Yes please! I haven't had a home cooked meal since Jane and Erik left." Darcy complained.

She showed you the kitchen and you got to cooking. You made the same thing you would make for breakfast at the orphanage.

You heard someone come through the door but paid no attention to it. When you were finished you headed out to ask darcy where the plates were.

"Hey Darcy. Where are th-" You paused when you saw others in the room.

"-the plates?" You finished asking.

"In the cuboard next to the stove. I'll help." A girl answered. "I'm Jane." She said.

As we walked back to the kitchen it was silent. We gathered the plates and then she asked questions.

"So how do you know Thor?" She asked.

I smiled as I remembered how we first met.

"Thor is like the older brother I wasn't born with. Him and Loki practically raised me. Although there was a lot of secrets, comsidering I didn't even know they were alien royalty until a couple of days ago." You laughed.

She looked confused.

"You mean Loki as in Loki Laufeyson, the man who every time I have seen him is a complete jerk to everyone. He raised you?" She said in suprise.

"Well we were kinda dating, I think. Before this morning at least." You said still upset at this morning.

"What happened?" She questioned.

"Long story short, we kissed, his mom walked in, then he said that oir first kiss together was no big deal." You said.

"He did that? Well now that I think about it he probably didnt know that he did anything wrong. As i was saying earlier he was very antisocial and didnt get out much. He probably didn't mean it that way." She explained while making everyones plates.

"Your right! How could I have overreacted this bad? Thank you so much Jane." You thaked her.

"No problem. Now lets get some food to Darcy and the others before she dies of starvation." Jane says sarcastically.

You follow jane out to the loving room and place the plates. You sit down across from Thor and next to Darcy.

"Jane I was wondering if you could take y/n out shopping for the day. I assume you have heard about Loki and her already." Thor asks Jane.

Jane smiles mischievously.

"No problem Thor. There's no harm in making Loki a little stunned. We are going to make you look good y/n. There's no doubt about that." Jane tells me.

"No way am I missing out on this. I'm coming with!" Darcy exclaims.

Looks like there is going to be a shopping trip.
