Chapter 18: Vacation Part 1

You and Loki above Maybe??
Loki's POV:
"What is Disneyland?" I voiced my thoughts. What could it possibly be?

"Ooh! Goodie! You don't know what it is. It will be a suprise then." Y/n said. "We have to go home and pack then."

I smiled. She refered to Asgard as home. I am glad she thinks that way. I hope it will one day be her forever home.

I wonder what it could be. It had Disney in it so is it another movie? But then why would we have to pack? Im so confused and want to know!

I was so wrapped up in my thoughts that I didnt even realize we had already gotten to where Heimdall would pick us up and bring us back.

She wrapped her arms around me tightly, still unsure about the whole version of traveling between worlds.

When Heimdall brought us back y/n thanked him again and he smiled at her. I can see that no one pays a lot of attention to him. I am glad that y/n is.

She grabbed my hand again and rushed to her room while she pushed me into mine.

"Be sure to pack enough for a whole week. Otherwise you'll be out of clothes after a couple days. And we aren't coming back for more!" She yelled out as she entered her room. I could still hear her because we have conjoined rooms. It was easy for us to hear each other.

I grabbed some of my favorite clothes of many different styles because I do not know what we are doing. I also included the shirt that y/n had gotten for me on her shopping trip. She hadn't seen me wear it yet so I'm sure she'll be suprised.

I'm actually excited to wear it. I mean, I have worn it to bed before and I realized I like wearing it. Surprisingly midgardian clothing is comfortable. Not that I'd ever admit it out loud.

When I finished packing I picked up my bags and saw y/n rummaging around the closet. Then she stood up with only about seven items of clothing. She set them in the bag and went back for more. She grabbed some undergarments. (He blushed slightly but he didn't want me to mention that.) Then she got three differnent pairs of shoes to wear.

As she walked out of the closet towards the bathroom she finally saw me. She squealed and cluched her chest in suprise.

"Oh my gods! You scared me Loki! How long have you been there?" She asked.

"Not too long. Just long enough to see what all you packed. Not specifically all, but all that you packed." I said.

She smiled.

"I get what you're trying to say. Did you pack everything you are going to need?" She asked.

"Yes I did. I am all ready to go to this Disneyland you speak of." I said hoping I got the name right.

She smiled before putting on a backpack and grabbing her duffle while I grabbed the duffle that y/n had lent me. She grabbed my hand but didn't seem to be in as much of a hurry as she had before.

As we were walking back we passed the kitchen. Y/n let go of my hand and rushed inside. She came back out with three cookies. She handed me one and took a bite of one other.

When we walked to Heimdall, Y/n started to get fidgety. I assumed she just didn't like the whole teleportation thing. When we got to the place we would be teleprted from y/n slowly let go of my hand.

It was then that I realized that she still had one more cookie left. She walked up to Heimdall and poked him in the arm which brought him out of his standstill nature. He turned towards her and stared at her in confusion.

She then held out the cookie. He smiled in pure joy. He took the cookie and savored the taste.  Then he laughed and laughed, he was so happy that someone had finally showed him some attention other than ordering him around. He picked up y/n and swung her around. She was smiling and laughing along with him.

She started to tell him where they were planning to go. Though she didn't explain what it was exactly. So I still didn't know where we were going.

"I promise to bring you back a souvenir!" Y/n said as she wrapped her arms around me.

Heimdall then teleported us.

"We are in a state called California. This is where Disneyland is. " She explained. "But now we need to find a place to stay. Luckily I recognize where we are."
