joshua woke up at the bleak of morning, eyes sticky with sleep.

he decided to take his boyfriend on a picnic, not wanting to hurt the boy more if something happened at a different diner.

he pulled on washed jeans, matched with an acdc t-shirt. he didn't want to get his good clothes dirty.

"mama im goin' to my bo- friends house, kay?" the boy told his mother, getting a 'mhm' in response.

he grabbed the basket and went to his baby, aka his truck. he couldn't wait to see his other baby.

-

"where we goin' today, joshua?" tyler questioned, fumbling with the sleeves of his pink sweater, which he borrowed from his new friend malanie.

he also wore leather black pants, which he also borrowed from malanie, she was a sweet understanding gal.

"surprise." joshua said, getting a groan from his love.

"hate supirses."

"so ive heard."

the two parked in front of a park, a park nobody goes to anymore.

"really?" tyler giggled, remembering him and his family coming there when he was young.

"what? do you not like it? we could go-" joshua was cut off by his love giving him a soft, innocent peck to the lips.

"its perfect darling," tyler said, opening the truck door. "shall we?"

the couple walked to a shady spot under a huge oak tree, the older one putting down a soft blanket for them to sit on.

they silently continued to munch on the sandwiches the red head brought, smiling at eachother once in a while.

"do ya' like it?" joshua asked, taking a huge bight from his cheese sandwich.

"yes, joshua, its great. thank you darling." tyler said with food in his mouth, using a delicate hand to cover his mouth.

"i didn't know if ya' would wanna go back to a dina' after what happened." josh sadly said, finishing the rest of his semi nasty food.

tyler just smiled in return, happy his new boyfriend understood how he felt in that kind of situation.

the difference between the two is that the oldest didn't let his emotions show that often.

he didn't like the harsh words of course, but he knew the people who said the things only wanted a reaction.

the brunette, on the other hand, couldn't help but let his emotions shine through his procelen face.

he didn't like giving the rude people the reaction they desperately yurned for, but it was just who he was.

both knew it was never okay to hurt someone for being against their sexuality.

neither would stoop to the level- unless they had to in a self defense situation of course.

tyler was a delicate flower and joshua was a gardener that pulled the weeds for the tan boy to survive.
