⠀⠀⠀⠀Connor felt himself slowly loosing stability as the ground continued to shake, thunder roaring in the sky as sharp pellets of rain stung his skin. Forcing himself to breathe, he grabbed his now rain soaked sword off of the ground, finding it hard to keep a grasp on it.

The faint sound of rustling footsteps somehow reached his ears admits the chaos and Connor looked to see Felix, Evelyn, and their army, staring up at the beast who seemed to take great interest in them. Connor leaped to the side as the demonic creature took ahold of the tree beneath him, swinging it at the army who also attempted to jump out of the way, but some weren't so lucky, and Connor could only watch as their bodies splattered onto already broken buildings.

"What is that thing!?" Evelyn shouted through the thunder as Connor ran to the two of them, pushing his hair out of his eyes, face wet from the rain.

"I...I think that may be a King of Hell!" He shouted back before the King let out another fierce roar, and the three of them clasped their ears, glaring at the monster that was now being bombarded by warriors.

"Fall back!" Evelyn ordered, but she was too late. Swiftly, the beast took a handful of soldiers, and their screams echoed through the air as the king crushed their bones and threw them into the sea beside them. Evelyn's eyes widened in horror.

"Where's Bex and Gracyn!?" Felix shouted, and Connor pointed his sword to his slowly rising friends.

"I have to go help them!"

"Go, we'll cover you!" Evelyn ordered, and Connor could only nod in appreciation as he sprinted, slipping and sliding on the wet ground, to his friends.

Bex was bleeding from the side of her head, gripping her side as it felt like she had broken every single bone. She looked up, her eyes unfocused as she saw the bird like figure in front of her, she stood up and back away, stepping on one of her swords, which had a broken blade. She looked to the other side and saw that her other weapon was in tact, picking up she locked eyes with Connor.

"Just tell me what to do." She shouted to him, and Connor couldn't help but smile,

"you should retreat." He suggested, but Bex shook her head, "you're head is bleeding, Bex, retreat!"

"Not a chance, Pallitan!" Bex persisted, looking at Gracyn as he sat himself up. Connor kneeled down beside his friend, who was drenched in rain. "I'm getting a dent in that thing if it kills me!"

"Fine, go help Evelyn!" He frustratedly gave in, Bex grinned with victory and sprinted to Evelyn and her army, who were killing the other beasts who had followed the supposed King of Hell. Some soldiers had began attempting to climb up the King's wings, only to be shoved off.
