Katrina's P.O.V
After the party two years ago, everything went just as it should. We went to comic con and saw Paul McGann again, which set off Chris' jealousy but that was soon resolved, I managed to rope our neighbour, Fionn, into helping accentuate my look as Sybil Branson, and Dan and Phil? Let's say they made Phan official.
Things haven't been exactly okay, we've all hit bumps in the road but things are looking on the brightside now.
I walk out of my room clad in comfy clothes and head to the kitchen of me and Daisy's flat. We'd stay here for a few months at a time but we basically lived with the guys. I sit on the sofa and look around the room for the television remote; I know there's not going to be anything on this morning, but it's always worth the look.
Daisy walks into the room, heading straight to the kitchen to get a drink or breakfast or some delight. I'm not hungry just yet. I flick the television on, it's left on a movie channel. I start flicking through.
Daisy sets a drink of some kind of juice on the table and sits, a plate of crumpets in her lap.
"Want one?" She asks. "There's another packet."
"No thank you."
I hand her the remote, letting her choose the programme and get up to go to the kitchen. I get myself some orange juice. Nice and cool from the fridge, it would taste nice, however like the idiot I am I just brushed my teeth. I haven't waited the thirty minutes needed before you eat and drink, either. Whoops. Oh, whatever!
I sit myself back in my seat and notice the television's off.
"Nothing's on," Daisy informs me with a mouthful of crumpet.
I take a sip of juice. Maybe if I keep drinking the minty taste will go away? I highly doubt it.
"I'm going to see Chris today, might stay over. You coming?"
I shrug, "Don't know. Maybe."
"Okay, I'll go in like ten minutes maybe? I need to pack a bag..."
"I think I might join you actually, for a bit," I say. Packing stuff gives me something to do.
I smile at her and head to my room to gather stuff, phone and such.
I grab my red satchel and pull out some of the junk I'd left in there. Food wrappers, a half drank water bottle, a book...I should probably keep that in there, a birthday card, a -- wait. Birthday card? Oh, for Fionn's birthday. I should buy him a gift, too. He's a nice neighbour. I keep the book and my purse in there, I put my phone in, too. That should do.
I grab a cardigan and leave my room, Daisy is having a long drink of her juice. She puts the glass down and gets up.
"I'm going to go pack my stuff, can you get the mail?"
I nod. It's going to be bill galore.
Leaving my bag, I head downstairs to collect the mail. One of the other people that live here walks past me, giving me a scowl. Not all the neighbours here are nice, which really sucks. I'm used to having nice neighbours or ones that don't bother you, or ones that don't bother you but are good people whenever you need to help them out..if ever you need to help them.
I take out of mail and I'm right. As I flick through them all I see is bills, and rent, don't forget that. Wait, one of these letters is not like the other. I recognise the handwriting. Curious, I open the letter. It's an invitation. A wedding invitation.
Oh my...
I bolt all the way back up the stairs, Daisy has to see this. Dan and Phil are getting married.
