Katrina's P.O.V
I slowly wake up and stretch sleepily in bed, I kind of want to fall back to sleep but I know I probably shouldn't. I push myself up, then tense because I'm not in my room. I'm not in my room, or PJ's or anywhere else. Oh God. I look around the room, it's fairly small and there's a bookcase tucked in the bottom right hand corner, with a door leading off the right hand wall. There's various pictures and posters on the walls, opposite the bookcase is a wardrobe. I have never seen this room before.
I try to remember last nights events, I vaguely recall leaving the boys' flat and getting a...oh no! Some cabbie has kidnapped me. I knew he was a weird one.
No. No wait.
I can smell where I am before I remember. Now that sounds weird.
I'm in Fionn's room. I remember coming in last night to hug him and him taking me to his room, I'm not even sure why he did it. I'm still in clothes, so that's a good sign.
I tiptoe out of the room, I can hear movement in the kitchen. So that's where I go.
I cross my arms and stand awkwardly in the doorway. Fionn's taking a mug out of the cupboard.
"Uh, morning," he says, turning to face me.
"Morning..." I reply.
"So..."
Ensue awkward silence.
"Um, tea?"
"No thank you."
Fionn nods, "So, what was it that made you come here last night?"
"I don't know if I should say..."
"Oh?"
"Um...well one of the things is that my boyfriend broke up with me..." I begin.
Fionn picks up his mug, nodding. He turns around and ends up hitting his head on the cupboard door. I stifle a laugh. He puts the kettle on after shutting the cupboard.
"And...Daisy received some news...bad news..."
"Oh dear."
"About her mum."
"Ah, is everything okay?" He looks pretty concerned.
I don't reply, I don't know how to reply, I don't even know if Daisy likes the idea of him knowing.
"Oh, oh dear...tell her I'm sorry, if you get the chance."
"I will." I probably won't. "Um, also I just wanted to let you know that yesterday was okay."
He doesn't say anything for a minute then a smile creeps onto his face.
"Just okay? Mind you I've had girls say worse."
"No, you cheeky sod! I mean that --"
"I know what you mean, don't worry about it."
I smile at him, then say that I better go, really. He says okay, but I can tell he doesn't really want me to go. I wave goodbye then head up to my flat where I was supposed to be staying, and take a quick shower and clean everything up.
***
I've just finished putting something in the bin when someone knocks on the door, it's Chris.
Chris is looking worried as he tells me about Daisy. Which makes me worried now.
"Well, you're right...there's little to do to make her happy. If she's depressed she can't be happy so suddenly, it takes time. You need to show her the fun things, get her playing a game or watching a movie or something - to focus her mind on that and nothing else. You can't be gentle and say little things that would usually make her smile, you need some kind of forcefulness."
"Right," Chris nods. "Can you come back with me?"
"Of course," I nod. I was about to suggest it myself.
Chris and I drive back in mostly silence, there's idle chit chat, he asks me about PJ and how PJ told him about his choice and his opinions of the situation but I just let him rant about it.
When we get there, Dan and Phil are eating, talking in hushed voices. Daisy is no where in sight. I sigh and Chris takes me to his room.
Daisy is sitting on the bed, staring into nothingness.
"Daisy." I say, but she doesn't respond.
I look at Chris then back to her.
"Daisy, you have to speak with us." I sit on the edge of the bed. "Come on, this is no way to act."
She glances at me.
"Daisy, you need to eat, you need to keep your strength up. Come on."
I start to try and pull her up and soon Chris helps, she isn't budging, but we get her to her feet.
"Daisy, you have to move, you can't be in my room all day, okay?" Chris says.
She moves her feet and we get her to sit on the sofa, I bring the food that Chris had made her before and let him try and coax her into eating it.
I really don't like to see her like this.
