Katrina's P.O.V

I dial PJ's number and exit the room, in case PJ decides to get angry at me. To my surprise he picks up after the first few rings.

 "Hello?"

"Um, hi, PJ," I say. "Um, I was just ringing to ask if you want to come with us all to Daisy's mum's funeral, she wants us all to come."

He's silent for a moment, I can almost hear him think. "No, I better not."

 "What? Why?"

"Well it'll be awkward for us..."

"And? We can get along for one day, can't we? We don't even have a reason to be mad at each other...I just want to put this behind us."

"Look, I'd rather not. She probably doesn't even want me there."

 "She does!"

 "Look, just...I can't. No."

 "What happened to you?"

 "Goodbye, Katrina."

PJ hangs up. What a prick. How can he even act like this? I sigh and make my way back to the main room, I shrug at them all.

 "Not coming."

"What?" they all say in unison.

"He doesn't want to come." I flop down on the sofa.

 "Why?" Daisy looks pretty hurt.

 "Because of me."

 "That's ridiculous." Chris sighs.

We all sit around, watching the television, some movie is on. We hadn't talked much since after dinner, so it's been pretty quiet for a while now.

A door opens and closes and PJ stalks past us all, Daisy's up first. She goes straight over to him.

 "PJ."

PJ stops to look at her, "What?"

"I invited you to my mum's funeral and you don't have the decency to go because you're mad at Katrina?! I invited you, I want you to come, you're not mad at me, are you?"

 "Well no..." he looks coonfused.

"So why can't you come? I just want this one day, this one day, where we can all get along. This day is important to me and my family and I want you there, I want you two to fucking make up!"

She points at me and him.

 "Please, PJ."
