Daisy's P.O.V

I watch as Katrina goes, a slightly worried look on her face. I decide I wouldn't worry about it now, as it was probably nothing, and text her tonight or talk to her tomorrow.

I flop down on the couch next to Chris. PJ had gone out with his friend and Dan and Phil had gone out on a date.

"Just you and me, ey?" I grin, as he hands me the second XBOX controller.

"Just me and my lady love." He smiles back.

"Aw." I smile, taking a handful of popcorn, throwing bits at him.

"What was that for?" He asks, throwing it back at me.

"For being so gosh darn cute." I smile.

After we played video games, and I smashed his ass in Mario Kart, we put some music on and slouched together. Seriously, any closer and we would've become one. Which in a way is poetic. Eh.

 "Chris?"

"Hmm?" He played with a lock of my obsidian hair.

"Do you think Dan and Phil are ready to get married?"

"Sure. They've known each other for a long time."

"I know, I just have this feeling that they're not ready as a couple, you know?"

"I know." He patted my head. "You worry too much."

He smiled.

"I know. I just don't want things to fuck up for them."

 "I know you don't."

"You don't think that...." Chris started.

 "What?"

 "Nothing.."

 "Chris." I looked at him.

"Well, I mean, there's no rush for...like...you and me to...y'know...tie the knot?"

"No, no. We don't have to get married just yet. I mean...you weren't...planning on it, right?" I hesitate, worried I'd ruined something. That often happens.

"No, no, of course not. Not yet anyway." He smiles, hugging me close.

"I'm glad." I smile, kissing him, then excuse myself to call Katrina.

It rings twice before she picks up.

 "Hello?"

 "Hey, are you okay?"

 "Fine, why?"

"Just...you looked worried when you left..is everything okay?"

"I'll tell you tomorrow. How about you? How are Dan and Phil?"

"They're out. PJ is too. Just me and Chris. I also have stuff to tell you. Shall we meet tomorrow for lunch at one?"

"Sure. Meet you there." She hangs up and the line clicks off.
