The Ghost and I [Sterek]

Chapter 1

"What the hell is this thing again?" Stiles asked from his spot in the passenger seat of the black Camero.

"Once again Stiles, it's called a car. Didn't they have cars in 1870?" Derek answered from the drivers seat. They were making the, very, long journey back to New York.

"Derek we barely had a camera back in 1870. You ever hear of a horse, do you they still have horses?" Stiles asked sarcasticly back to Derek. Derek just huffed and continued to drive.

-Halfway-

They got half way across the country before Derek gave up and pulled up to a motel on the side of the busy town. Neither had any clue what state they were in.

"Scott, you can take the bed by the door, Stiles and I will sleep on the other one. Scott are you okay with that?' Derek asked as he helped Stiles make a barrier with pillows on their bed for Claudia.

 "Yeah, that's fine." Scott said and walked to the bathroom to get ready to go to bed. 

 "What if your pack doesn't like me?" Stiles asked nervously as he sat on the bed between the two pillows. Derek came around so he was in front of Stiles and bent down.

 "They'll love you, I promise. Especially Isaac, he's the baby of the pack." Derek explained and kissed Stiles hand.

 _NEXT MORNING_

 After check out, Derek helped get Claudia into her car seat, Stiles got in the passenger side of the Camero, Scott got in his own car, and once Derek was behind the wheel they continued the journey to New York.

 "How much longer?" Stiles whined from being trapped in the car for so long. 

 "You'll be we're almost there, only an hour left." 

 Derek pulled up to the wooden cabin, more like mansion, in the middle of the forest.

 "You ready?" Derek asked shutting the car off.

 "Nope, but it's now or never." Stiles said as Derek helped him out of the car. The forest around the house was so peaceful and quiet. That was until an excited blonde haired beta ran out of the house and ran to Derek.

 "OH, alpha we missed you," the beta said before he spotted Scott. "Scott!"

 "Get a room please." Derek said as he started getting the bags out of the trunk and Stiles got Claudia from the backseat. Derek lead stiles up to the front doors of the house and opened them, he let Stiles go in first. The look of shock on Stiles' face was picture worthy, the poor boy looked like he was about to pass out. Not only was the size of the room shocking but also the whole pack sitting in the living room waiting for them. 

 "Pack, I would like you to meet my mate, Stiles." Derek said as moved out of the way to put Stiles in the spot light. Should of warned him first, though. Stiles stool in front of the pack ackwardy until a girl with long red hair walked up to him.

"He's very cute and his moles just add the cherry on top. How old are you, relatively?" The girl asked as she examine him.

"22"

"Young and cute, how on earth did you manage to snag a ghost from the 1870s as your mate?" The red head asked, not needing an answer. "Also, my names Lydia, I was the one keeping this pack sane, I guess you can help me now." Lydia added before going back to sit down. After that Derek introduced the rest of the pack to Stiles, so far the people lhe liked the best were Lydia, Scott, and Isacc.

"Okay, you guys can fend for yourself with dinner, it was a long drive and u think Stiles is a little overwhelmed so we're going to go upstairs and sleep." Derek said grabbing Stiles hand. As they walked up the stairs Stiles heard somebosy say "why can't anybody just be whelmed?" And a series of groans following it.

"I think Claudia might sleep through the night, so thats good." Stiles said placing her in the crib that was already set up in the corner of Derek's room. The two of them undressed down to their boxers and got into bed.

"Thank you for bringing me here." Stiles said as he rest his head on Derek's chest.

"I don't know why I wouldn't, you're my mate and I love you." Derek answered back as he kissed Stiles head.

"I know." Stiles mumbled, but giggles a little when Derek grunted. "I'm kidding I love you too, sourwolf"

Hello, I'm back! I'm also a senor now and it took me a while to get this out. I'll try to update as much as I can. Also, bonus points to anyone who can guess what the two references are in this chapter.
