The boy loved to play in the rain.
Right as the weather turned dark and wet, the boy loved to frolick and play outside imagining sticks as magic wands and many other playful things like any other child would do.

The weather always intrigued him.
The way the sun rises and sets every night and day replaced by the beautiful light of the moon always somehow put a smile on his face.

One day he decided to play outside one day it was raining.
He never bothered to wear a jacket or any clothing that could protect him from the wet weather because it has no point to him.
The weather is just so beautiful in his eyes.

He imagines having someone to share these moments with.
He always imagines having someone to play with at these times which he is alone.

He named this imaginary person Ethan.
Ethan is always with him, even though he's the only one who knows of his existence, he's always there.

He's the one that plays the prince when they play games in the rain.

He imagines Ethan as the most beautiful boy on Earth, better yet, the most beautiful boy in the entire universe.
He imagines Ethan having gorgeous chocolate brown hair and sparking hazel eyes that he'd get lost in.

He imagines his skin being so pure and soft.
He imagines Ethan as the definition of perfection.

But no one else knows Ethan except the lonely boy Grayson who just needs someone.

Grayson imagines Ethan as a real human being like someone he'll meet one day.
His friends call him weird or strange and his parents think it's just a phase but Grayson's knows Ethan is forever.

Ethan will never let him down.
Ethan would never do that to Grayson.
He loves him too much.

The weather is a beautiful thing.
It's what creates the light in the sky.
The light Ethan creates for Ethan.
But the weather is also a very cruel thing.

It's what destroyed the life of a boy.
A boy named Grayson.

The weather is what took the life of such an innocent, fragile, precious boy who had so much to live for but decided to play in the rain on a particularly harsh day.

The lightning a little too strong striking the boy dead leaving his imaginary friend alone and unwanted by anyone.
