I walk down the hallways of my high school coming across yet another prom proposal. The guy stands in front of her with a big banner help behind him while holding a bouquet of pink roses. The girls eyes widen as she stares at him in pure awe.
I decide to stop and watch the proposal because it was honeslty cute but also made me kinda disappointed that no one has asked me yet.
"Will you do the honors of being my date to the prom?" He asks grabbing her hands and intertwining them with his. She looks up at him considering she's extremely short. He looks down at her smiling.
"Of course, David. I love you so much." The girl says.
I've had a major crush on Ethan Dolan for as long as I can remember but all the girls and guys in our school swoon over him. I definitely don't have a chance.
He's perfect. He's one of those guys that can do both. Most of the guys in my school either have the amazing looks or the amazing personality but it's hard to find anyone with both.
Ethan is my definition of perfection. It's not his appearance or his features I fell in love with but he's considerate, loving, caring and kind. Him being absolutely stunning is just a MAJOR bonus.
I bet Ethan will be asking some girl soon considering he's gay. I bet anyone would say yes even if they were a random person that didn't even know him. He's just too perfect to say no to.
Ethan's P.O.V
"Dude set up the damn thing." Aaron says as he hangs up the giant banner I created myself. "You're not the one asking her so shut up." I snap. I'm already as nervous as it is and Aaron is not helping at all.
I'm asking Grayson Lyon to prom. Hopefully he'll say yes. He just has to otherwise I did all this for nothing.
Right now Aaron, Jack, and Nate are helping me with the entire set up of the 'proposal'. I just really hope he likes it and accepts it.
I've liked Grayson for a really long time but I never had the guts to tell him. Today's the day I finally confess my feelings. We've known each other for a long time as well but we were never really close because I was always too nervous to even get near him.
I'm doing mine on the other side of the school because I know Grayson's schedule and he walks past where David is doing his. He'd see me setting up. Call me crazy that I know his schedule but I asked him to see his schedule at the beginning of the year but that was the only times we talking or even made eye contact.
He's absolutely beautiful let me tell you that. I never get tired of his sight. He's also sweet and caring. He's everything I want in a guy.
"Ok done!" Nate screams probably loud enough for the other side of the school to hear. "Shut up nate." Jack says stepping down from the ladder they used to hang up the banner.
"Bro he's gonna love it." Aaron says patting my shoulder. "I hope so." I say biting the inside of my cheek. I do that when I'm nervous. Nate and Jack finally get themselves down the ladder and walk over to me. They each give me a 'bro hug'.
"Good luck man." Nate says also patting my shoulder. I nervously smile thinking about all the ways this could go wrong.
What if they didn't hang the banner up tight enough and it falls?
What if he's allergic to red and white roses?
What if he's allergic to Dove chocolate?
What if he says no?
I slap my head trying to get all the negative thoughts out which obviously doesn't work. Dammit Ethan. Calm down.
