Bon Appétit

Our love was just too cheesy,
Though it'd spread between us quite smooth,
We 'devoured' each other way too quickly,
Alas, his sweetness couldn't be resisted, I had a sweet tooth!

I knew it'd eventually rot,
Turn sour and mouldy, oh it was a flop,
The frosting faded and sparks came to a hault,
And the unfilling cuddles were a cherry on top.

With our thirsts still not quenched,
And a dozen of lemons gifted by life,
Our temper would boil pretty often,
That rotten meat would doubt on me being his future wife!

Our molten love and frozen hearts did win in the end,
We'd roasted each other once or twice, maybe,
So bitterness wins, and with the door opened wide,
I head towards it and retort, "Bon Appétit, Baby!"

This deliciously punny little rhyme is a 'trailer' for my upcoming book, 'Bon Appétit'! Yep, it is inspired by the song!
Tell me your thoughts on it, and the plot description will be out soon!
Thanks for reading, vote and comment! Xx)
