Dom's POV
I decided to take Jasmine and Lilly out for a celebration dinner. I know it sounds basic and cheesy, but this really is something worth celebrating for. I run upstairs and find Lilly talking to Lauren on the phone. When she sees me, she smiles and her eyes light up. She finishes talking with Lauren and turns to me.
"Do you have anything you want to tell me or something?" She raises her eyebrows.
"Yes, I do, in fact. I was wondering if we could go to Cruzer Pizza and Pasta for a celebration dinner because ya boy got the job!"
"Really! That's amazing, Dom." She runs up to me and hugs me.
"I know. This job literally took me 3 years to get and I finally got it. Now I can teach other kids my passion."
"That's really great. Go tell Jasmine while I get dressed."
"My, aren't we a little bossy."
"Shut up." She laughs and playfully punches me.
I love seeing this side of her.
"Fine, I'm leaving."
Lilly's POV
I laugh as Dom leaves the room. Wow, I sure have been laughing a lot since Dom came back. I thought. I go to my closet and look for an outfit to wear for tonight. Dom said that tonight will be casual so I put on the pair of jeans that I always wear and throw on my white t-shirt. I go brush my hair and do my makeup, that one makeup look I know how to do and when I'm done, I go to Jasmine's room and help her get dressed. I do her hair and we both take a look in the mirror.
"Mommy, you look pretty."
"Thanks, sweetie. You look adorable." I say and give her a kiss on the cheek. We both go downstairs together and find Dom sitting on the couch, furiously typing something into his phone.
"Daddy, what are you doing? I wanna sit on your lap." Jasmine runs up to him.
"Not right now, Jasmine. I have some things I need to take care of."
"BUT I WANNA!" Jasmine screams and stamps her feet.
"Sweetheart, let's leave daddy alone, ok? Here, play on the Ipad." I console her.
I walk over to Dom and rest my head on his shoulder.
"Hey beautiful." He offers me a kiss.
"Hey love. What's wrong? Is everything ok?"
"Everything is fine." He responds, standing up.
"There's nothing you need to worry about. Alright guys, let's get going!" He scoops Jasmine up and carries her to the car and I grab my phone and vlog camera and we take off. Dom seems distracted.
"Hey." I give his shoulder a squeeze.
"Everything will be fine, just try not to stress about it."
"I know, I'm just nervous."
"You know what I always say? True success lies out of your comfort zone, and in order to be successful we need to try new things "
"That's true."
"You know you can talk to me anytime, right?" I say.
"Yes, I know. Thanks babe."
"Of course love."
We arrive at Cruzer's and the waiters take us to our seats and ask us what we would like to drink and order. We all order pizza. The food takes about 20 minutes to make, so we didn't have to wait too long. The food arrives and we dig in. Surprisingly, Jasmine hasn't been that fussy. We all catch up and time flies. We pay the waiter and give him a tip and then we go home. Tonight was very well spent. I looked back and saw Jasmine had fallen asleep in the backseat. I smiled. We drove home and Dom took Jasmine to her room. And we settle in for a night of Game of Thrones. We haven't had a night like this in a long time. I rest my head on Dom's chest and before I know it I fall sleep.
