Chapter 10

Lilly's POV
I need a night out. I miss my friends, especially the squad, I thought. And right when I had that thought, Swoozie calls me!
Swoozie: Hey Lilly! How are you? We miss you. We should get together for another squad reunion tonight. You down?
Me: Yes! That would be great! I'm good and I miss you too! What are we doing?
Swoozie: Let me talk it over with Lauren, but I'm pretty sure we're going clubbing!
Me: Yes! Also who all is gonna be there?
Swoozie: Lauren, Alex, you, Dom, Ryan, me, Yousef, and possibly Bethany.
I was a little shocked to here that, but I played it cool.
Me: Oh, that's great! Swell.
Swoozie: Ok, can't wait to see ya! Bye.
Me: Bye.
I go upstairs to get ready. I wash my face, brush my hair, and brush my teeth. Next, it's makeup time! I blend, fill, dab, and brush. Finally, for the finishing touch I apply BAWSE and put on a choker. I walk into the living room and catch Dom making some pancakes for breakfast. How sweet. He's so cute.
"Hey babe. I see you're making us breakfast."
"Hi, beautiful." He says with a kiss on the cheek.
"Oohhhh" teases Jasmine.
"Oh stop it." I reply with a huge smile.
"Alright, ladies, take a seat because breakfast is served!" announces Dom. And we dig in.
"Wow, Dom. You're such a good cook." I say.
"Thanks baby." He says.
"You're welcome." I respond, batting my eyelashes at him.
He laughs and goes to do the dishes as I get Jasmine ready and get her in the car because today is her first day at preschool! As I pull up into the parking lot, I start to feel kind of sad, but I brush it off.
"Bye mommy. I love you. See you after school." She says, hugging me tightly.
"I love you too, baby." I hug her back. She's such a sweetheart. I go home and send some emails, do some house stuff, vlog, and shoot some videos. I was hella productive. Dom and I agreed that I would drive Jasmine to school and he would pick her up. So that's what he did. He dropped her off at his mom's house and came home to get ready for a night of wild partying. He dresses casually, but he still looks cute to me. He's wearing his amazing smelling cologne. I hug him to let him know how much I appreciate him. And soon we're off. When we arrive at the club, Dom buys us drinks while I go to find Lauren and Liza. But instead, I bump into someone. I look up and see Bethany.
"Oh my god, Bethany, I'm so sorry! I didn't see you!" I apologize.
"Its fine, don't worry about it." She smiles warmly.
Weird.
"Also, I wanted to say I'm sorry for how I treated you all of those years. I was so jealous of your relationship with Dom. I was petty and selfish. I'm so sorry."
"Well, lucky for you, my heart is always open for forgiveness." I embrace her.
"Thank you so much." She says and rushes off to the bathroom.
I go find Liza and Lauren and we catch up and then we all go to get some more drinks. And we have a little too many. We hit the dance floor, only to find ourselves dancing the night away. The next time I take a break, it's around 2 am.
"Oh, shit. I forgot to pick up Jasmine." My words slur. I wince. I usually never swear, but I was too drunk to control my language. I get Dom and say goodbye to Lauren and call an Uber. The Uber comes and we get in and he takes us home. Dom calls his mom to let her know we'll pick her up tomorrow morning. Suddenly, a wave of sleepiness hits me and the instant my head hits the pillow, I knock the eff out.
