Lauren's POV
When Lilly called me, I figured she need me to babysit Jasmine again, but boy was I wrong! She said she had great news, and that the squad reunion was going to be at her house. I got ready as fast as I could and I rushed Alex as well. And then we were off.
Lilly's POV
I rushed downstairs and found all of the guests all ready gathered. Everyone was gushing at how cute Jasmine was. I smiled.
"Thank you, mommie's friends." She replied.
"Good job, sweetie." I say and give her a kiss on the cheek.
Dom enters the room and clears his throat. The room falls silent.
"Lilly and I have an important announcement. This is the real reason why we had everyone come." He says.
"You ready to tell them?" He looks over at me and smiles.
"Yes." I smile back.
He slides his arms around my waist and says:
"So, we're getting married!"
"Wait what?" screams Alex.
"We're engaged!" I shriek.
"Oh my god!" yells Liza.
"Oh my globsicles!" Lauren screams.
Everyone rushes over to congratulate us and hug us.
"Guys, also we're all going to Chipotle for dinner tonight to celebrate! Then clubbing later!"
Dom's POV
I call my mom to come over and watch Jasmine and she happily agrees. She's thrilled with the engagement, so that's a big plus. We head over to Chipotle and eat as fast as we can. Our next stop was the club. I literally left my body on that dance floor. Lilly looked like she was having the time of her life. She danced and danced. Eventually, we had to take a break because our legs were starting to give out. We had some drinks. Ok, well actually a little too many. But who cares? Live while you're young.
Lilly's POV
By the time I had enough energy to go back and dance, I was a little incoherent and drunk. Fine, very incoherent and drunk. To be honest, I was drunk enough to send some drunk texts to my ex's.
"So, when is my mom gonna get here?" I slur. Ugh, I hate when that happens.
"Damn, girl. When you get drunk, you don't get drunk. You get DRUNK."
"I'm sleepy." I sleepily.
"Alright, we'll get you home." He says.
Before I could hear the rest of what he said, I was already sound asleep.
Dom's POV
I was sober enough to drive, so I carried Lilly to the car and said good bye to the squad. On the way home, I stop to pick up Jasmine, who is also asleep. I carry Jasmine to bed, and then Lilly. And the second my head hits the pillow, I'm out.
Lilly's POV
I wake up the next morning with a huge headache and to top that off with a hangover as well.
"Dom, what time is it?" I ask, rubbing my temples.
"Almost 2." He says, checking his phone.
"Damn. I sure slept for a while."
"Well, you were pretty drunk last night." He smiles.
Every waking moment spent with this man is such a blessing.
"Dom?"
"Yes, princess?"
"I truly appreciate you. And I love you."
"I love you too, darling."
"Howdy partner." I joke.
"Ah, those were the days." He says, thinking back.
"What do you wanna do?" I ask.
"I don't care as long as I spend time with you." He kisses me.
"Hm, what about some Riverdale?" I say.
"Anything you want, baby." He says, sweetly.
"You're the best." I kiss him on the cheek on go downstairs to order some piazza for lunch and pop some popcorn. The piazza comes and I pay the delivery man and give him a tip. I thank him and we dig in. I also drink some Advil to help my headache go away. When we're done eating, we go back upstairs and watch Riverdale. And while we watch, we cuddle. These sweet moments with Dom are the best things ever.
