Lilly's POV
I wake up pretty late the next morning, feeling delirious and to top that off, with a huge headache. Dom comes into my room, looking as if nothing has ever happened.
"Good morning wife." He says with that adorable smile of his.
"Good morning husband." I give him a small smile. And we kiss.
"Hey are you ok?" He says with concern.
"Yes, babe, I am, I just have a huge headache." I admit.
"Let me go get some Advil for you, and I'm pretty sure you'll feel better. So, what's the plan for today?"
"Well, I was gonna do some work, but I guess that's off. We should figure out where to go on our honeymoon."
"Ooh, what about Hawaii?" He says with excitement.
"Eh, too basic." I reply.
"Umm," He says scratching his head with thought.
"What about Thailand?" I ask.
But my statement is interrupted by Dom's phone ringing.
"Hello? Yes, mhm, yeah. Of course. See you soon." He hangs up and then turns to me.
"Baby, I have to go to the dance studio. It's an emergency."
I do a mock pout.
"Its alright, love. Have fun." I say, trying to brush off the feeling of disappointment. Dom gives me a kiss on his way out and leaves.
Dom's POV
I rush out the door, as fast I could. I get in my car and start the engine up. And soon I'm out on the highway. I look at both sides, before turning the corner. Suddenly, a car comes out of no where, and slams into the side of my car. I hear the sound of glass breaking and then my world goes black.
Lilly's POV
I hear my phone ringing, I pick it up, assuming it's Dom.
"Hello?"
"Is this Lilly Sandoval?" says a man's voice.
"Yes it is, what is it?" I say, with worry in my voice.
"Ma'am, there's been an accident. Your husband just got in a car crash."
"What?" I scream.
"Please come to the hospital right away." He says.
"I will." I say, my voice cracking.
"Have a good day, ma'am."
I put the phone down, and sobs start racking my body. I lay on the floor, and curl into a ball.
"Mommy? Mommy, what's wrong?" Jasmine yells.
"Mommy, I'm calling Nata."
I just nod, and continue to cry. Then I stand up and wipe away my tears as Jasmine proceeds to give me a hug. And I grab her and we get into the car and go to the hospital. The nurse rushed us into the room where Dom was being hospitalized. What I saw when I walked in was indescribable.
a/n: I'm so sorry, I had to end the chapter this way. This was all planned. This was something that had happened in Jane the Virgin, and it breaks my heart to release this chapter, but things can't always be sunshine and rainbows. I'm sorry.
