Lilly's POV
This is it. Today's the big day. Today is when I'm finally going to propose to Dom. And I have a plan. I wake up pretty early the next morning and get ready. I make myself a quick breakfast and go to the dance studio to set everything up. I warm up and then start practicing my dance routine. Parents start to bring their kids for class. I continue dancing, not even nothing that Dom has already arrived. The kids stand there, with their jaws dropped. Finally, the music ends, and I end my routine. Everyone claps. Heat fills my cheeks, because I was so not expecting this what so ever. I bow. Everyone gathers round to see what's next.
"Dom, this one's for you." I say. And I let my feet do their own thing. I dance and dance. I feel as light as a feather. Nothing or no one can stop me. And as soon as it started, it all ended. People cheer, clap, whistle, and give me a standing ovation. A grin spreads on my face. I bow.
"Dom, could you come here, please?" I ask.
He comes and he whispers:
"Lilly, what are you doing?"
"Just trust me on this" I whisper back.
I clutch his hands and begin.
"Dominic, ever since I've met you, my life has never been the same. Ever since that day we shot that collab, I've always had feelings for you. You're an amazing boyfriend to me and an amazing father to Jasmine. I love you with my whole life, and soul. I want to grow old with you. I love you so much, my heart hurts. I love that we have little inside jokes and just the simplest things and send us laughing. I love you so damn much, and with that," my voice cracks, and I get on one knee and clutch his hands.
"Dominic Kyle Sandoval, will you marry me?" I search his eyes, trying to read his emotions. His eyes glisten with tears.
"Yes." He replies, his voice almost barely audible. I get up and he slides the ring on my hand. We embrace and exchange a very long kiss. Everyone around us claps and whistles. We part and everyone rushes over to congratulate us or hug us. Dom's class runs over and we share a group hug.
"So, Mr. Dominic, will we be invited to your wedding?" asks Danny.
"Of course, all of you will." He says. Everyone laughs. And with that we leave, hand in hand. When we get home, the first thing we do is find Jasmine.
"Jazzy bear?" calls Dom.
"Jasmine, honey, come downstairs. Daddy and I have some amazing news to share."
She comes down, bouncing up and down.
"What is it?" She asks, curiosity killing her.
"So, daddy and I are going to get married."
"So is daddy gonna stay with us for forever?" She asks.
"Forever and ever."
"Yay!" She squeals and she hugs us.
"You guys are the best mommy and daddy ever!"
"We love you, Jasmine."
"I love you too."
And we dig on the couch, all of us smiling. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with the man I truly love.
