- A sequel to This Could Be Us.
It's been a few years since Lilly has given birth to the love of her life, her daughter Jasmine. Dom has been acting a little distant lately. One day, Lilly snaps. Things escalate much quickly than expected.
Lilly's POV The due date for the baby was right around the corner. It should be any day now. The morning went by pretty smoothly, but around noon, when I was doing some work, I felt something pop. I called Dom right away, because last time when this happened my god damn water broke. And along with that, my stomach started hurting very bad. Dom got here just in time. He called an Uber which took at least 15 minutes to get here, and by then the contraptions had started to kick in. Every 5 minutes or so, I had contraptions. And it was hell. I couldn't wait to get this human being out of me. We got to the hospital as fast as the driver could drive. Dom tried to carry me, but that was kind of hard, because of my stomach. So, he carried me to the hospital and the nurse rushed me into the nearest room. She helped me change and I was at least 9 centimeters dilated. Soon, the contraptions went from being 5 minutes apart to 2. And then 1. The nurses called the doctor over and she got gloves and everything ready. "Alright, we're going to need you to push in 3-2-1. Push!" And I pushed, as hard as I could, but then I ran out of energy, and then tried again. After many attenpts, but failing, I started to cry. It was too much. Dom held me hand and he kissed me, which was enough for me. I pushed and pushed until the baby was out. We decided to name him Jake.

They evaluated him and then they let me hold him for a bit until they took him to another room. At some point in time I fell asleep, because before I know it, I feel someone shaking my shoulders. I open my eyes and see Dom attempting to wake me up. "What, who, what time is it?" I get up instantly. "Well, let me check my non existent watch, and according to me it's 3 pm." "3 PM? How did I sleep for that long? It felt so short to me!" "Babe, don't stress. You needed to sleep, so we have you some time to rest." "I love you." "I love you too, princess. Ok, we need to check out because you can go home!" I change into my normal clothes and I check on Jake to see if he's doing good, and he was sleeping soundly. I smiled. We go to the front desk and sign out and we finally go home together. Hand in hand.
a/n: sorry if these authors notes are so short. I'm so tired bc I stayed up late last night watching Shane, and like I'm delusional. But yet I'm somehow making sense? Idrk.
