Dom's POV
"Dom, can we talk?" She asks.
I instantly start getting irrational fears. Did I do something wrong?
"Sure." I say.
She takes my hand and leads me into a corner.
"Dom, I love you and this is the most sweetest thing someone's ever done for me and I love you so so much for this, you know that. But we've never even discussed marriage before. I know things are different now that Jasmine's in the picture, but I just need some time to think about it. Is that ok?"
"Yes, of course, no problem at all." I say, trying to hide the pain.
"Thanks babe." She says giving me a kiss on the cheek. She finds Jasmine and takes her home, or so I thought.
Lilly's POV
I asked Lauren to pick Jasmine up because I wanted to have that dance session with Dom. Lauren comes about 10 minutes later. Alone at last. Dom takes a few deep breathes and starts break dancing. Something about Dom dancing turns me on. I must've been watching him for a long time because my legs started to fall asleep. I take a deep breath and walk in. He's sitting on the floor, shirtless, and slick with sweat.
"Hey, Mr Dominic Kyle." I tease.
"Oh, it's just you." He says with relief.
"Hey, I love you, like I said all I need is time. Why don't we just dance? I haven't danced in so long ." I tug at his arms and he stands up. He turns on some Bad Liar, which is now our song. Our anthem.
We dance the night away. I let my feet do their own thing and let myself be caught in the music. I haven't felt this good in so long. Finally, my legs give up and we take a break. We sit down, trying to catch our breath.
"Damn, girl, you're good."
"What can I say? I'm a woman of many talents." I say with a smirk.
"Oh really? Is that so?"
Before I could respond, he leans in and kisses me. His lips soft and hot brush against mine. We kiss for a bit and then part.
"I love you, Dominic." I say at last, intertwining my hands with his.
"I love you too."
We walk outside and we lay in the grass counting the stars. A star shoots across the sky.
"Make a wish." He says.
I close my eyes and wish.
"What did you wish for?" He asks.
"If I told you, then it wouldn't come true." I smile.
I rest my head on his chest and we lay there, lost in the moment.
