Dom's POV
I woke up at 5am, way too early to even get ready. But I couldn't help it. I'm just so nervous. I accidentally ran into the wall on my way to the bathroom and that sound alone was enough to wake up the whole world. Lilly sat up groaning.
"Dom, what are you doing being up at such a time like this?" She asks, sleepily.
"I can't sleep anymore. I'm just too nervous."
"Let's do something together. Maybe grab coffee or go on a nice walk?"
"Let's do both" He smiles and gives me a kiss.
We both get up and go to our bathrooms and get ready. When Lilly comes out, she's wearing shorts that show off her long, slender legs. She wearing an oversized t-shirt and her hair in a messy bun, that still manages to look beautiful on her. She's wearing natural makeup, which makes her look even more beautiful, if that's even possible. God, I must be the luckiest man alive. I thought.
She smirks and takes a look at me.
"Is Mr. Dominic Kyle checking me out again?" She teases.
"Come here." I command. And she comes. I crash my lips into hers. And just like we always end up doing, we end up making out.
"Mommy, daddy, what are you doing?" says a little girl's voice.
We part and turn as red as tomatoes.
"Um, we were just, erm," I try to explain.
"Doing an experiment for daddy's job!" Lil finishes.
"Mommy, I'm not stupid. You were kissing daddy, weren't you?" She says with her arms crossed across her chest.
"Aren't we a little sassy, here, little miss Jasmine?" I say, tickling her.
"You didn't answer my question." She says pouting.
"First of all, you need to get to sleep because it's too early, baby. We can finish this conversation later." Lilly says sternly.
"Fine. Have fun." She says stomping her feet. And then she goes back upstairs and falls aleep.
We both burst out laughing.
"So are we going to continue this or-" She asks, but before she could finish her sentence, I kissed her. I missed these kisses. They were filled with happiness and they were sweet. Finally, we break apart and we lay down.
"So, do you wanna grab that coffee or what?" She says, lightly tracing my abs.
"I think we'll be just fine." I respond.
And we lay there, enjoying each other's company, and before we know it, we both fall asleep. The next time I wake up, or we, is when I hear my alarm blasting. I groan and hit snooze. I repeat this 10 more times until I realize it's my first day at work and I need to get going! Lilly goes downstairs and makes me some pancakes, which taste horrible and she knows it. But the it's the thought that counts, right? I kiss Lilly and give a kiss to Jasmine too and run out the door. Today was sure going to be something, but these sweet moments with Lilly would be just enough to get me through my day...
