Juvia's POV
It came faster than I realized. I found my feet frozen to the ground, my hands hanging uselessly at my sides.
I should counter the spell, I wanted to do something but instead, I just stood there; awaiting my death, too shocked to move.My eyes squeezed shut, anticipating the impact.
There was a sudden gasp as a woman screamed, "No! You fool!"
I opened my eyes to see the most horrific sight before me.
There he stood, impaled completely through, staring at the large thorn that emerged from his chest.
He met my eyes, his own glassy with unshed tears.
I couldn't grasp the situation, my face was filled with horror as a single tear rolled down my cheek.
He smiled, genuinely smiled as his eyes fluttered and he fell into the rain kissed ground.
"GRAY-SAMA!"

Gray's POV
I sat up quick in alarm as I heard Juvia scream my name.
Tears were rolling down her cheeks as she whimpered and cried in her sleep.
I frowned. That must be one bad nightmare.
"Juvia," I called softly at first, gently shaking her shoulder.
She cried out again, her eye lids scrunching, her breaths heavy and ragged.
It's time to wake up.
"Juvia, wake up," I said a little more frantically, shaking her shoulder rougher.
"Gray-sama? Gray-sama!" Juvia screamed again.
Wake up damnit!
I scooped Juvia up in my arms and lifted her off the bed, about an inch off the mattress.
I kissed her nose and I saw her face crinkle in confusion.
Then I dropped her into the bed.
As soon as she hit the matress, her eyes flew open as she sat up in alarm, her breaths coming in and out heavily.
"J-Juvia? Are you alright?" I asked in concern as I looked at her surprised face.
She looked around frantically and then sighed in relief.
"Juvia?" I asked louder, thinking maybe she didn't hear me.
"Gray-sama?" Tears welled in her eyes as a wide grin appeared on her face, "Gray-sama!"She launched herself off our bed and tackled into my arms.
I hugged her tightly as she sobbed into my chest.
"JuviathoughtshelostGray-sama! Shethoughtyouweregone! Gone gone gone!" She rambled in a distraught state.I stroked her hair comfortingly as I listened to cries.
"Shh shh it's ok Juvia. I'm here. I'm ok. I won't leave you, never ever," I assured her in a soft and patient tone.
