   "Cannon in D?"
   "Yeah, go."
Mia began to play on her keyboard. Her and Ethan had been friends for 2 years now, but don't have much in common. People wonder why they're friends. Mia is shy, Ethan's a social butterfly. She's musical, he's an athlete. They seemed to click though.
"Wanna get lunch? We've been playing Mozart for an hour now."
"First of all, it's not Mozart, it's Pachelbel. But sure."

We got in his blue mustang his parents had bought him a few months ago. He had just gotten his license the week after he turned 17, and his parents were prepared and jumped right into getting his car. I only have a permit, so I can't drive with him. Well, legally that is. He lets me drive around the neighborhood sometimes when traffic's low. I'm a great driver, just not old enough yet.
   "Where to, Madame?"
   "Anywhere without meat, kind sir."
He was my only friend that didn't judge me for being vegan. Every single other person at school didn't like me once they found that out. He doesn't support it, but he respects it. It's nice to have someone like that.
"How about Smoothie Palace for you dear?"
"Sounds berrylicious!"  I said as I shot a glance with my eyebrow arched.
