"Hey kiddos!" My father announced.
"Hey dad."
"Hey Mr. Lilsburg."
"What'd you guys do?" My dad asked.
"Just went to Smoothie Palace." I said.
I could tell that Ethan wanted to say something, but he didn't.
"And didn't bring me anything? How rude! Haha, just joking. I'll see ya."
"Ok, bye dad."
"Bye Mr. Lilsburg."
We walked down my hallway and headed towards my room. It was clean because I had gone through my whole room last summer and got rid of everything. There was practically nothing to get the room dirty again. He jumped on my bed and then we heard my dad call out to us.
"Mimi, is he staying the night or what?"
I blushed as I responded with "if he is I'll let you know."
I hate when he calls me Mimi. It's so baby-ish. My dad and I are cool with each other, but we don't hang out or bond a lot. I like to hang with my friends more.
"You staying the night or what?" I asked him.
"I don't know, should I?"
"Ask your parents."
He pulled out his phone and began typing his mother's number in the message app. "Mom can I stay at mias tonight" is what he sent. Not even a minute later she responds with "sure honey. Call me tomorrow."
He flashes his phone at me and I called out to my dad saying Ethan is sleeping over. Well, this'll be fun. We always stay up late and just talk about school and crap like that. It's fun to do. I enjoy his presence.
