Light shot in through my blinds. I peered through my eyes and finally opened them. I turned over to see him and he was still asleep. I checked the time on my phone. "12:14 pm" it read.
"Gosh, we must've been up till like... One?" I whispered.
I couldn't even remember what time we fell asleep. I started to think about my dream. It's blurry and very vague, but it was a cool dream. I was walking on the side of the highway one day and I saw a car pull up, a mysterious wind swooshed me into his car, and I realized it was Ethan. He took me after he tied me up in the trunk and drove me far away to a place in the middle of nowhere. He left me tied up in a barn to starve.
It's weird but I remember waking up in the middle of the night because I got scared. Must've been 3 am or something.
I got up and stretched, then headed to the bathroom to brush my teeth. As I was doing that I heard him wake up. He came in the bathroom when I was still brushing my teeth. I hate when people watch me do that, but I was ok with him. He squeezed his way behind me and put up bunny ears in the mirror.
"Morning, sleepyhead." I giggled
"Morning, Aurora." He said as he gave me a goofy smirk.
When we were both done brushing our teeth I went to check on my dad. He wasn't home, I wondered where he was. I took my phone off my bed and dialed him. It rang three times before he answered.
"Hello?" My father asked.
"Hey dad, where are you?"
"I'm at your mother's work. She wanted me out of the house, so she brought me with her today. Everything ok?"
"Yes, we're fine. Just wondering where you were."
"Ok. See ya sweet pea."
"Bye, dad."
