Chapter 13 - song dedication

I paced back and forth backstage.

She saw me, she was going to find me and hunt me down.

"What's wrong Suzy?" Peter asked.

"Umm... basically... there's this one girl who stays at our hotel who is certain I am Jackson's girlfriend and she has seen me in the hallways multiple times. I've tried to get her off of our trail but she's just seen me when I was with Jackson... so... yeah..." it was a strange explanation but Peter seemed to understand.

"That's not an ideal situation... but if she was the only one to see you, I'm sure it's not a big issue, the boys have been involved in so many dating scandals so I know how to handle this. The only issue is that you guys have so many photos together and the fan meeting was a strange meeting between the two of you so I am a little worried and it's also been a couple of months already."

"I think Jack and I should try and be a little more careful. We can cool down for a couple of months, not that we can actually meet up from across the world but you know what I mean."

"Yeah that sounds like a good idea." He nodded. "Just try and enjoy the rest of the concert."

He smiled with something hidden behind it. Weird.

"So guys, we have a special stage prepared for our special fans here in Shanghai," Jack spoke in Chinese, "we're going to sing a Chinese song which I know all of you know the lyrics to, called 'Love Confession' by Jay Chou."

All the fans started cheering so I assumed it was a really popular song.

"I want you all to think about a special someone and when we sing this song, send them a little message and tel them you love them." Jack finished off.

"Drinking coffee at the left bank of Seine River, A cup in my hand, enjoying your beauty, your lips' mark left." AJ began singing in Chinese. His pronunciation was actually pretty accurate.

"Rose florist wrote the wrong name, confession balloons blown to the street, flying and smiling in the sky." Ren sang.

"You said you're a bit too difficult to chase, want me to move back, don't need an expensive gift, only want the Champs leaves." Johnny sang, he had the best pronunciation out of the three boys.

"Planning a romantic date, not afraid to mess up everything. Having you is just like having the whole world." Jack sang and looked directly at the camera. He wrote a message on his hand that only I would understand.

He wrote: 'you are my happy'

It seemed like it was grammatically wrong but I would always tell him 'you are my joy'.

I know, we were a disgusting couple but I couldn't stop smiling.

"Aww that's so cute." Peter suddenly appeared.

"I know." I couldn't contain my happiness. "He's so cute."

The song's lyrics were so sweet and I assumed that Jack sang it with it aimed at me.

Instead of the 'Drinking coffee at the left bank of Seine River' lyrics, he sang 'drinking hot cocoa at the Starbucks down the street'. I knew that was about the time I spilled my hot cocoa on him.
