Chapter 19 - Jackson's POV

JACKSON'S POV

After I saw Suzy at the cafe, I knew I made the biggest mistake of my life. I shouldn't have given up that easily. She was worth fighting for.

My manager came to pick me up for a fan signing event and I couldn't stop thinking about her on the way there.

Our fans had grown over the last couple of months and so we had to have more events with them, we often had events every week all over the country.

"Hi everyone! We are Cruel Zero!" We all said and the fans cheered.

I had to admit, they made me happy. They took my mind off of Suzy and the way she avoided eye contact with me.

I sat down and the fans started coming up.

After about ten minutes a staff member ran onto the stage and looked around frantically before seeing me.

What was going on?

She ran to me and lowered down to whisper in my ear.

"Jackson, the girl, Suzy has been in a car crash."

I felt my heart drop.

I stood up and was prepared to run.

"I'm sorry everyone but a family issue has come up, I'm really sorry." I bowed as I ran off stage.

The other three guys looked at me in confusion but I didn't have time to explain.

I ran straight to the car and ordered our manager to drive me to the hospital where she was being held.

She was in a car crash?

I had only seen a couple of hours ago.

Was she okay? What happened? I prayed that she was okay.

Thoughts began filling my head. I assumed the worst.

"We're here."

I rushed out of the car and straight into the hospital.

"Tell me where Miss Suzy Bennett is."

"Suzy? Was she the one who was hit by a car?"

"Hit?" I started to feel faint. She was hit?

"She's still currently in the emergency room. Are you a family member?"

"No." I said. I wish I could say yes.

"Okay, I need you to wait on the side since she's still being operated on."

"Okay." I said and sat down.

"Jackson don't panic. I'm sure she'll be fine." Peter said.

"Don't tell me not to fucking panic. She wasn't in a car crash! She was hit!" I ran my fingers through my hair.

She had to be okay.

She meant more than the world to me. If she wasn't okay...

I can't even think like that.

Hours went by, the boys came to give me company but I wasn't in the mood.

"Miss Bennett's family?" The nurse came out.

I knew I wasn't family but I needed to hear what she had to say.

"Yes?"

"You're her husband?"

"Yes." I lied. I thought if I said no, they wouldn't let me see her.

"She's just come out of surgery and her surgery went well."
