~Jack's P.O.V.~

"So did I do anything else?" I asked.

"No you did not. I mean other than be a total bitch." She said.

"Hey! You weren't exactly little miss happy when I first met you." I said.

"You weren't very nice to me either."

"I know, and I am very sorry about that." I said.

"I am sorry too."

"Why are you sorry? You are the only person who sees what is happening to me." I said.

"I just wanted to apologize for Bunny being so rude to you." She said.

"I deserve it. I haven't been a very nice guardian lately. I'm just glad you still have faith in me." I said.

"You don't deserve anything you are getting." She said.

"Thank you."

Ariel started to get closer and closer to me. She knelt right in front of me and took both of my hands.

"Don't ever say you deserve any of this. One day the rest of the guardians will see what I see." She said.

I smiled at her and she smiled back. It was a nice moment until I started to get a weird feeling.

"Hey are you okay?" Ariel asked. I didn't reply back to her so she said it again.

I got up and started to walk over to the door without saying anything to Ariel.

"What the hell is going on?" Ariel asked.

Without answering Ariel, I walked out the door.

"JACK! What the hell is going on with you all of the sudden?" She asked.

"Stay out of my way." I said. I pushed her away.

I walked and froze everything in my path. I finally was at the Warren. I knocked on the door and saw Bunny standing there. .

"What the hell are you doing here?" He asked.

"Just thought I'd stop by for a visit," I replied, forming a snowball behind my back.

"I don't know what you're planning here, Jack, but you need to leave before I lose my cool. It's bad enough that I haven't seen Ariel all day." He glared at me. "I don't suppose you know anything about that, do you?"

I smirked.

"Possibly."

"Listen here, Frost. I don't know what the deal is with you lately, but I don't like it."

"You don't have to like it, Kangaroo. You just have to deal with it."

I pulled out the snowball and chucked it at Bunny's face. He gasped in surprise and at the cold. I laughed at his expression. Bunny growled at me, his fists tightening.

"That's it!" he shouted, pouncing on me.

Bunny and I wrestled on the front lawn, trying to hit one another. After several minutes, Bunny clawed me, tearing my sweatshirt a little, causing me to stumble back. I looked down at my shirt as Bunny called the other Guardians for backup. I glared at the rabbit.

"That was my favorite sweatshirt," I growled.

I shot a beam of ice at the rabbit, knocking him over. Bunny stood up slowly and looked at where I had hit him. There was frost over his fur. He suddenly pulled out his boomerangs and threw them at me. I flew into the air to avoid being hit.

"That all you got, Cottontail?!" I shouted down to him.

"You bet your shit it ain't."

Suddenly, the sound of bells ringing filled my ears. I turned quickly to see North's sleigh coming at me. I ducked as they flew over me, ducking again North swung a sword a me. I chuckled when I saw my old friends getting their weapons ready.

"You guys really think you can take me?" I asked them. "I've stopped Pitch single handedly!"

"'Cept you had us to back you up, mate," Bunny replied with a growl. "Now you've got no one."

I was about to fire a shot of ice at them when Ariel suddenly sped into the Warren, stopping between me and the Guardians.

~Ariel's P.O.V~

"Everyone needs to calm down!" I cried as I stood between Jack and the Guardians. "This doesn't have to happen!"

"Like shit it doesn't!" Bunny exclaimed. "He came in here and started all this! He's getting what he came for!"

"But you don't understand what's going on!"

"And you do?" Jack questioned. I looked up at him. "You've never understood, Ariel. You don't get what's going on here."

"Phil," I heard North say. "Get Ariel."

Before I could turn around, I felt Phil grab my shoulders, pulling me away from everyone.

"No!" I shouted. "Please! Let me help!"

"Stay out of this, Ariel!" Bunny replied.

I tried pulling away from Phil, but he kept a strong grip on my shoulders. He gave me an apologetic grunt. While the Guardians were briefly distracted with me, Jack shot a beam of ice at them. The Guardians scattered and got ready to fight.

Bunny threw his boomerangs at Jack, who dodged one and froze the other. Tooth flew up at him, trying to slice him with her wings. As she got closer, Jack tried to hit her with shards of ice. Tooth flew out of the way. North jumped up as well and knocked away the shards with his swords. Jack kept his concentration on the three Guardians, keeping them at bay with his powers.

What he didn't expect was for Sandy to use his sand to grab his wrist and throw him to the ground.

I winced when I saw him hit a large boulder and slouch to the ground.

"Jack!" I shouted.

Jack slowly sat up, rubbing his head in pain. He looked up, confused. His eyes met with mine, silently asking me what had happened. I shook my head before I saw North coming at him.

"Behind you!" I cried to him.

Jack quickly grabbed his staff and flew into the air. He looked down at the Guardians, shock on his face.

"Not again," I heard him mutter.

"You guys have to listen!" he said to the Guardians. "This was all an accident!"

"An accident, mate?" Bunny said. "You call coming to my Warren and starting a fight an accident?"

"I didn't do it on purpose! I was forced to!"

Bunny ignored him and threw another boomerang. Jack deflected the boomerang and looked up as Tooth came flying at him.

"Tooth!" he said. "You have to believe me! This isn't me!"

"I know this isn't you, Jack," she replied. "Which is why I don't understand why you're doing this."

Slight panic spread across Jack's face.

"North! Sandy! Please believe me!"

Neither men responded. Jack looked at me once more, sadness on his face. He swung his staff, sending frost flying across the Warren. The Guardians ducked and shielded themselves from the frost. Phil wrapped his arms around me to protect me. When the yeti let me go, Jack was gone.
