The Twilight Pack

-3 years later-

I put on some foundation to my Crescent Moon tattoo (every pack has a symbol on their wrist to say what pack they are in, kind of like a birth mark). I put on foundation so no other packs ask about it or well turn me over to the Red Moon pack if they have an alliance with them. Which you really want to because they are now the biggest and strongest pack.

"Can you please not go to work today." asked Maddy.

"I have to Mads. I need to pay for food and shelter and possibly a get away ticket when we need to leave" I reply.

"At least can I stay home alone?"

"Your 13 not 18. I would but its still too risky so you are being baby sat by the nicest witch in this city."

Madelyn grunts and walks away. I would love to stay at home with her but how else would I get money. I drop her off to Emily's place and ride on a bike to work, Lawson Cafe. New York is such a beautiful city, it's nice and busy and the food IS GREAT! I arrive at work and start my shift.

My day ended with closing the cafe like always but everything was still great. While riding my bike I just realized I missed a turn a while back, damn it. I get out my phone and then looked up, there was a forest, huh I must've missed a few turns if I ended up here. I start looking up directions on my phone then hear a growl. Shit have I been found? Is it the Red Moon pack? A wolf emerges from the bush, its definitely not the Red Moon. I think I've just crossed another pack's territory.

"Sorry I crossed your territory it won't happen again blah blah all that bye" I tell them and ride my bike off into the distance.

My alarm goes off for a new day and I get up to get ready for work again. I arrive at the cafe and start taking peoples orders. Suddenly I get a whiff of 2 werewolfs come it, okay calm your heartbeat and think of Maddy. I calm down and ask

"Hi, what would you like today"

"We would like 2 medium latte's and to talk to you" said the handsome one with the black hair and the blue dazzling eyes...ugh! Snap out of it Adelaide!

"Why is that?" I ask.

"We want to just talk about territory lines" the one with brown hair says.

"My break is in an hour, if your patient enough and wait we can talk"

An hour later I have my break and sit down with the two boys.

"Alright I only have 5 minutes, what do you want" I snark.

"I'm Levi, alpha of the Twilight pack and this is my beta Tom. We are here to ask you why you're here"

"I asked what you wanted first"

"Well your going to have to answer us first" Levi says.

My phone starts to vibrate and I go to answer it, it was Madelyn's emergency phone. Somethings going on.

"Hey were's your pack tattoo?" asked Tom.

"None of you business" I reply

"MINE!" yelled Levi.

I look at him, no, it can't be but I don't have time for this now so I answer the phone.

"Maddy?" I say.

"Adelaide" she crys "they found us"

My heart starts to beat faster, the boys give me a look to see whats going on.

"I'm sorry I have to go" I run.

I grab my bike and peddle as fast as I can. Never missing a turn. I finally make it and find Emily's place is a mess.

"Maddy!"

"I'm here!" she yells.

I run to her voice and find her in Emily's secret magic room.

"Are you okay?" I ask.

She points down to her leg, Maddy was stabbed by a knife and the cuts too deep. I sigh and pick her up while getting some money and grabbing a taxi. The only place I can think now is going to the Twilight pack. They'll have a wolf medic and as soon as Maddy's better the sooner we are out. I thank the taxi and Maddy acts like everything is okay.

I step over the line and wait for a wolf to emerge.

"Are you here to continue our conversation?" asked Tom.

"Please help my sister" I say.

He comes up and looks at her leg, he nods.
