"How did this happen?" asked the wolf medic Angela.
"um she was cutting carrots and she got her self in the leg" i replied worried.
"Are you sure? The cuts very deep"
"I told you why now do your job!"
They rush off to clean the wound and stitch it up. I go into Maddy's room and ask her what happened, turns out one of the Red Moon pack members were here to talk to Levi but found Maddy and tried to take her instead. While she tells me what happend I apply foundation to her Crescent Moon tattoo.
"Why can't we show our tattoo?" she asked
"Well the Crescent Moon pack name is quite popular and if people see are tattoo they might take it the wrong way" I smile.
"Can I have some more water?" Maddy asks.
I kiss her on the forehead and nod, putting the foundation in my bag and heading out the door.
"Can I please get a glass of water?" I ask
The receptionist nods and goes to get some water.
"We need to talk" said Levi.
I sigh and turn around.
"What about?"
"About us, being mates"
"I don't have time talking about this" I say and walk if however he goes after me.
"This is important, they say finding your mate is the best thing that happens in your life. So far for me it's shit"
"Well I don't care"
"Why are you so against this? Shouldn't you be happy?"
I step one foot into Maddy's room and turn around.
"No" I say and slam the door shut I front of his face.

I slept in Madelyn's room all night not leaving her side. Angela came in to check up on her and gave me some food to eat. I can NOT wait to get out of here. There's a knock at the door and I go open it, there stands a girl. But I know this girl, her name is Karly. We talked at a party but that was about it.
"Hi, I'm Karly the Beta's mate" she smiles.
Thank god she doesn't remember me.
"Um hi."
It was silent for a while but then she showed me a picnic basket and asked to come in. It was silent for a while and then her mate Tom came in.
"Um hey. I'm just here to ask a few questions" he says.
I just give him a nod and Tom sits down.
"Why are you here?"
"I moved here when I turned 18 with my sister"
"Do you have parents?"
"Dead"
"Any other family"
I sigh.
"Dead"
"Where did you live before you were 18?"
"Ohio. It was were I was born and I lived at the Ohio Orphans Center"
"Age?"
"18 and Maddy is 13"
"Okay that's all thankyou"
Suddenly Karly asked me if we know each other
"Um No, I don't really talk to anyone"
They both smile and walk out of the room. Well that was close.
