"Jared?" I say.
Nothing. I call in the nurse and she tells me that he is still stable and could be waking up any time today. That put a smile on my face, Jared will be okay then we can all leave and be safe.
I rush to Madelyn's room to tell her the good news however when I walked in to the room there was a girl there.
"Uh hi." I say.
"Um hello, my name is Isabella. I just thought Maddy would like some company."
"Uh thankyou but right now I just need to say something then I'll just leave again." I smile.
I tell Madelyn the good news.
"We can get out of here soon" I say.
She smiles and I leave the room.

"Hey wanna go out for a coffee?" asked Carmen.
"Thanks, but last time I went out I was attacked remember?"
"Well I checked with my mate and he said they are having a pack meeting today so there is nothing to worry about"
There was silence for a while I finally say yes and she claps, grabs my hand and drags me out of the door. We head to Lawson cafe (I quit by the way) and sit down.
I order a simple latte while Carmen orders a fricking frappe with cream, sprinkles and caramel syrup. I just stare at her.
"What? I'm hungry" her heart is beating crazy.
I give her a strange look.
"What" Carmen sighs.
"Your hiding something"
"No I'm not"
"Yes"
"no"
"yes"
"no"
"Yes"
"Ugh fine! I'm pregnant"
I just froze. Holy shit. Technically I am the fricking aunt to this child. My mouth drops open.
"Not the response I thought I would get but I like the silence."
"Does Levi know?"
Silence.
"Does Shawn your mate know?"
Silence.
"Oh my god. Neither of them know?!"
"Look, I just need to find a way to tell them. I only found out the begging of this week and I've just been so busy."
"Of course, you keep my secret I keep yours" I smile.
Carmen's phone rings and she answers, I sit there waiting for her to end it then she hangs up and says
"Jareds woken up."
