-Levi POV-

I come back with a packet of Sea Salt chips but Adelaide isn't here. Where did she go? I see my phone on the ground and pick it up and see there is a text from Tom. Shit, damn it Tom! I run back inside to go find Addy to explain. I open the door to her sister Madelyn's room and see her inside.

"Fuck off Levi!" she yells.

"Just let me explain" I plead.

She walks up to me and slaps me in the face. Damn shes strong. I lift up my hand and touch my cheek, it burns.

"Wow, that was a good slap"

"Get out before the slap turns into a punch which leads to a concussion!" she yells pushing me out the door and slamming it in front of me.

"What was that all about?" asked Maddy.

"Don't worry" I say brushing her hair with my hands "you worry about healing so we can leave. I was thinking Australia?"

She smiles and nods her head.

-Levi POV-

"What happened?" asked Karly.

"Adelaide saw your text Tom."

"Damn it! Now your covers blown, what are we going to do now?" Tom said.

"We are going to do nothing. She actually liked my company and now I hurt her. Addy's my mate I don't want to hurt her"

"Look I'm sorry man. Lets just see what we got"

I look at the board and see the sticky notes. One says that she might have known my dad, she apparently died, that guy Jared is tied into this some how and there is so much there.

-Adelaide POV-

I decided to take a walk through the forest and head to New York. A nice and busy area to clear my mind, yeah its weird but it helps.

Are you okay? asked Alaska

I'm fine

Okay......are you sure?

Yes I am Alaska, now I'm trying to clear my head

I sigh and head into Starbucks getting a simple coffee. I sit there for a while thinking about what has been happening these past few years and where I am now. I look up and out the window to see the beta of the Red Moon pack with two other pack members, shit. I get up and walking quickly out the door and back towards the Twilight pack house before I get caught but it was too late. They started chasing after me and I start running as fast as I could. People were staring and I was pushing them out of the way. I couldn't get too close to the border so I stop at a clearing and wait for them. They came charging and I was ready to fight, i punched one in the face while kicking one in the legs making them trip and fall. Both of them are knocked out and it was just me and the stupid beta.

"Well we meet again Adelaide"

I knee him in the stomach and push him to the ground. He gets up and jumps on me trying to choke me bringing a knife up to my throat but I move and it gets my arm instead. I see a rock, grab it and knock him in the head.
