Knifes and Glass

-Levi POV-
Tom came back with answers that he asked. Her name was Adelaide, what a beautiful name. But there's something up with her, like what's her problem with us being mates? My dad used to always tell me how happy he was when he found my mum. I always wanted my parents love story to be like mine but BOY was I wrong! I get some stubborn mate who I apparently will love. I mean I love her now but still.....

Anyway, I can't be thinking about this right now. My sister, Carmen is coming for lunch today. She found her mate in Red Moon pack so she moved out. Our packs are now good alliance. The door bell rings and I go off to answer it.

"Hey Levi!" she smiles.

"Hey little sis" I reply and give her a big hug.

-Addy POV-

I sit in a chair across the room and get out a book Karly got me from the library. Theres a knock at the door and I tell them to come in.

"Hey um it's Levi, my sisters come over for lunch. She would like to meet you"

"Um no I should stay here and watch over Maddy."

"No go!" Maddy tells me.

Levi just gives me a smirk I sigh and stand up going towards the door and out. I sit down at the table with the rest of the pack and then Levi's sister comes in. Oh shit! Carmen is Levi's sister? I quickly get up and head towards her.

"We need to talk" I say.

"Uh yeah sure, just a minute everyone" Carmen smiles and heads toward the kitchen."Your lucky the whole bloddy pack isn't here Adelaide"

"Yeah but your here which means I have to eliminate"

I grab a knife and try to stab her but she blocks my hand and gets water and puts it on my wrist, showing my tattoo. I use my leg and kick her in the leg. Carmen falls down onto the glass cabinet and I put the knife up to her throat. I feel two hands wrap around my body and get me off from being on top of her.

"Addy, I don't want you or your sister getting hurt" she says.

"Then don't tell anyone anything"I reply mad and storm of, heading out the door I realize a bit of my tattoo is showing and hide it behind my hand.

I run to Maddy's room and tell her to get up while I pack a bag. Carmen then walks in the room and I head towards Madelyn with fist up.

"I'm not here to hurt you guys. I'm here to talk" she says while putting two hands up.

I put down my hands and put them on my hips. She sighs and sits down in a chair.

"Look, some of us in the pack disagree with our Alpha, Darren. We want you to be safe okay. I promise I wont tell anyone from the Twilight pack and the people who are with Darren in the Red Moon pack. I can stay and make sure you stay undercover until Madelyn is better"

"How can we trust you?"

"You don't have to, but your gonna have to try cause I am staying so I can help you"

I nod and tell her what we've been up to for the past 3 years. We actually started to get close but now I'm going to have to learn shift again since I haven't in a while. I told her how I blocked my inner wolf for safety reasons but now I am going have to get my inner wolf back.

-Levi POV-

I see Carmen walk out of Maddy's room and towards the receptionist, I ears drop like always to see what shes telling them

"If anything happens with Madelyn you call me straight away"

She then walks away and I catch up with her.

"So you and Adelaide are what bffs now? You were fighting with knifes like 30 minutes ago"

Carmen rolls her eyes and keeps walking.

"Are your going to tell me whats going on?" I asked.

"I cant Levi, now if you'll excuse me I need to go to my room and call Derek."

I stop at the end of the hallway and let her walk on. I fast walk to Tom and Karly's room to ask them a favor. I bang on the door and Tom opens it.

"Dude what the hell? Calm down, whats up?"

"We need to investigate who this Adelaide girl is" I reply.
