First Kiss

I move back and stumble under my own feet and fall over.

"Are you alright?" asked a voice.

I turn around to see its Tom.

"Yeah, Yeah. I need to go see Maddy" I then quickly head off and out of the room.

I run into Maddy's room and tell them to say nothing about Roman, before I can explain why Karly walks in.

"Uh, sorry to interrupt. I was wondering if I could hang out with you guys for the day" she smiles.

Great. Levi and now Karly wants to hand out. I sigh and show my hand to an empty chair to sit down. She started telling us stories about her when she was little, Madelyn was interested but I wasn't. I don't actually care what she did when she was younger, I care about Maddy being safe nothing else.

"So you guys are orphans aren't you" Karly asks.

I give her a sarcastic smile and nod.

"Do you know what your parents names were?" she asked.

"No" Maddy said quickly.

There was a knock on the door and I tell them to come in. It was Levi, with another picnic basket. I get up and shoo him out of the room closing the door behind me.

"I thought we could go on another picnic, but in the daylight" he smiles.

"Levi, the last picnic was great but it's just a one time thing"

"Oh come on. Your here for what, 4 more days? You said you would give me a chance"

"Ugh, fine" I say dragging on the e.

We head out to the clear part of the forest and started talking. It was nice talking to him, we ended up being there for a few hours. He taught me how to play a card game called cheat, he won pretty much every round. The last round I finally won and did a dance, you know the casual dab. I sit back down and Levi just stares at me

"Why are you staring me like that?" I ask.

"Because your beautiful" he replies.

"Really? A Fault in our Stars reference?" I smirk.

He then leans over and kisses me on the lips and I kiss back. Electricity fills up my body, is this what having a mate feels like? Because if so, it's amazing. I suddenly pull back because I remember Carmen doesn't want Levi to get involved with Darren.

"Is everything okay?" he asks.

"I shouldn't have done that. I should check up on Maddy" I say and run off.

"Addy wait!" he yells.

But I ignore him and keep running. Carmen is going to be so mad at me now, how could I be so careless?

I reach to Maddy's room and see Karly about to grab Madelyn's wrist with her tattoo.

"What do you think your doing?" I snark.

"Oh Adelaide, I thought I saw something on her wrist"

"Stay away from her!" I yell and push her to the ground.

"Addy stop, I'm okay!" cried Madelyn but I didn't stop until I feel two arms grab my waist and pull me away.

I turn to see it's Levi and shove him off. We then hear yelling coming from outside and we all look and head out of the room. Tom starts to defend himself from a guy that started attacking him and Levi goes to help. The guy elbows Levi in the chest and I run to go and see if he's okay. I look down and gasp.

"Jared?" I say falling to my knees.

"Adelaide?" he replies.

Then a nurse injects a needle into his shoulder making him fall asleep.
