Tyler's heart was beating so fast as he sat on the bench next to Melanie waiting for Josh to show up.
He kept looking around for any sign of him, though it had only been forty minutes.
There was still five minutes left depending on traffic.
Fifty-five minutes had passed and still no sign of Josh.
Tyler sighed.
Melanie wrapped an arm around his shoulders.
"He'll be here any minute now just you wait." She said.
Tyler nodded and closed his eyes, resting his head on her shoulder.
He heard a car door shut and opened his eyes looking around.
He seen Josh standing outside of a car, pulling on a sweater, seeing as it had cooled off due to how late it was getting.
Josh looked around.
Tyler sprung up and ran toward him.
Josh smiled once the small boy came in sight.
Tyler wrapped his arms around Josh's torso, nuzzling his face into Josh's chest.
Just chuckled returning the hug.
"Hello beautiful.... Holy crap you look so much more beautiful in person. I don't even know how that's possible." Josh whispered.
Tyler looked up at him with a smile.
Melanie walked up to them, cooing at how adorable they were together.
Josh reached a hand out over Tyler for Melanie to shake.
"Hello, I'm Josh, Melanie, right?" He stated.
"That is correct." She answered giving him a firm handshake.
"Why don't we go for a walk and talk a bit?" Josh suggested.
Tyler nodded but didn't let go of Josh.
"Come on Ty." Melanie said.
He slowly let go of Josh.
Josh just smiled.
Tyler looked at the ground shyly, fiddling with his fingers.
They slowly started walking.
"You look beautiful by the way." Josh said as they walked.
Tyler blushed.
Josh reached down and grabbed Tyler's hand.
Tyler looked up at him.
"Are you okay with this?" Josh asked.
Tyler nodded.
Eventually they ended up sitting on a bench, staring at the stars.
"Tyler?" Josh whispered.
Tyler looked at him and tilted his head.
"I would like to take you out on a proper date.. if you'd let me. You don't have to." Josh said.
Tyler nodded happily.
"Okay.. I'll let you know when I get something figured out." Josh said.
Melanie walked up by them again, she was sitting in the car for the last little while.

"We should get going Ty-guy, it's getting late and we have school in the morning." Melanie said softly.
Tyler pouted and shook his head.
Josh could tell Tyler didn't want to leave and honestly neither did he but he did what he had to do because he didn't want Tyler to be tired at school tomorrow.
"Come on pretty, you need to get home so you can sleep. I'll message you tomorrow and we can even Skype if you want to." Josh whispered.
Tyler nodded sadly.
Josh walked them back to Melanie's car.
Tyler gave Josh another hug.
He really didn't want to leave.
Josh made him feel happy, josh made him feels things he's never felt before.
Josh makes him feel safe.
He doesn't want to leave him.
Josh didn't want to leave either but he wanted to stay on Melanie's good side.
Josh hugged back tightly before letting go.
Tyler stayed attached to him though.
"Come on Tyler." Melanie said, pulling him off.
He looked at Josh sadly as Melanie opened the door for him to get in.
"Goodnight Ty." Josh said.
Tyler gave a tiny wave and pulled out his phone.

Josh pulled out his phone then looked at Tyler with a smile as Melanie back the car up and drove off.
