Today was Josh's birthday.
As soon as Tyler woke up he texted Josh.

Tyler: Are you awake?

Josh: Yes.

Tyler: Happy birthday!

Josh: Thank you baby boy.

Tyler: I wanna take you somewhere.

Josh: Why?

Tyler: Because.

Josh: Okay.. I'll pick you up in a bit.

Tyler: Okay.

Josh: Alright, I love you.

Tyler: I love you too.

Tyler set his phone down and went to go eat something, then got dressed.
He was very anxious today.
There was a reason but it was a surprise.
Eventually Josh picked him up and he gave him a kiss right away.
"Okay where do you want to go?" Josh asked.
Tyler took out his phone.

Tyler: Just wanna drive for a bit.

Josh looked at his phone and nodded.
"Okay we can do that." He said, pulling out of the driveway and turning on some music.
Tyler held his hand as they drove.
After a while Tyler turned down the music and pulled out his phone again.

Tyler: Movie?

Josh pulled the car over and looked at his phone.
"Sure." He said.
After the movie they sat back in the car.
"Where to now?" Josh asked.

Tyler: Food?

Josh nodded and they went to get something to eat.
Josh had noticed there was something off about Tyler today but didn't want to say anything.
He just looked more nervous then usual.
"Where do you want to go after here?" Josh asked while they were eating.

Tyler: Walk at the park?

Josh looked at his phone.
"Okay. Sounds good." He said.
So once they finished eating Josh drove them to the park.
They walked around, hand in hand for about an hour then they sat on a bench by the fountain.

Tyler: Can I spend the night with you?

Josh smiled at the text.
"Of course. Mom won't mind, she loves you." He said.
Tyler smiled and leaned his head on his boyfriends shoulder.
They sat on the bench a little longer before heading to Josh's house.
They watched another movie and ate the supper that momma dun had cooked, along with some birthday cake, then went up to Josh's room to get ready for bed.
Josh could see Tyler getting more nervous.
He furrowed his eyebrows and grabbed Tyler's hand, sitting him on the bed and sitting next to him.
"Is there something wrong, love?" He asked.
Tyler shook his head.
"You've been off all day are you sure there's nothing wrong?" He asked.
Tyler nodded.
"Okay. Just let me know if there is." Josh said pressing his lips to Tyler's.
Josh let Tyler borrow some of his pajamas considering Tyler didn't bring any and they both crawled into bed.
Josh held Tyler close as he started to drift off.
Tyler took a deep breath and poked Josh's chest.
"Yeah?" Josh asked, opening his eyes.
"I love you." Tyler said.
His voice was small and it cracked a little but he still said it.
Josh's eyes widened and he sat up.
Tyler smiled shyly, his heart still beating in his chest.
Josh grabbed Tyler and kissed him.
Josh was so proud of Tyler.
It must have took a lot for Tyler to say that.
Josh had tears in his eyes as he pulled away.
"I love you too, So much and I'm so proud of you." Josh said, looking Tyler directly in the eye.
Tyler smiled again cuddled up into Josh's chest.
"That's definitely the best birthday present I've ever received." Josh whispered, holding Tyler tightly.
