Melanie was writing a final and couldn't drive Tyler home.
Mrs. Cole had asked Tyler if there was anyone else that could come get him, she highly doubted it so she was surprised when he nodded.
He slowly pulled out his phone and dialed Josh's number handing the phone to his teacher.
She explained the situation to Josh and he said he'd be there as soon as possible.
Mrs. Cole stayed with Tyler until he arrived.
Tyler was sitting in the principals office when Josh had got there, he was still crying.
Josh slowly walked into the office, his heart aching at the sight of Tyler.
"Hey bud." Josh said walking over to him.
Tyler shakily stood up and Josh wasted no time in pulling him into a hug.
Tyler gripped to Josh's shirt like it was a life line.
The sound of Tyler choking back sobs broke Josh's heart.
One of Josh's hands were on the back of the crying brunettes head, holding him as close as possible.
Josh shushed Tyler, telling him it was okay.
Josh hates this.
Tyler doesn't deserve to feel this way.
Josh put his mouth close to Tyler's ear.
"Come on let's get out of here." He whispered.
Mrs. Cole stood up then.
"Tyler before you go I want you to listen to me okay?" She asked.
He nodded weakly.
"You take some time off to take care of yourself. Don't worry about any school projects you have or missing work. I will catch you up on everything and I'll let your other teachers know you'll be taking an absence." She said.
He nodded, just wanting to leave.
She gave him a sad smile and left to return to her class.
Josh drove Tyler home and went inside with him.
He laid on the bed with Tyler as he instructed him to take deep breaths.
By the time he calmed down he was half asleep, snuggling into Josh and closing his eyes.
