Here we continue a month later, known today as March. Hamilton the Great has been very busy, the Schuyler Chefs are ordering and preparing, the Trainer of the Troops is a tall and tired Frenchman, and the Tailors and Blacksmiths were preparing weapons and armor.

But, let us move upwards, where Sir Jefferson is seated.

\Jefferson POV/

I sighed as I could see out the opening of my tent, spotting my second in command walking hurriedly over to the Stable Boy. I smiled a little as James made exaggerated hand movements, trying to make a point to the boy, but shook his head, waving it off. The red-headed Stable Boy made a face at him when James turned around, and I laughed out loud abruptly. I caught the kid's eyes and he quickly scurried away. Huh.

Madison sighed loudly as he entered my tent, a hand dragging down over his face. "That boy has some temper problems, I tell you, but he hides it well. Of course, the Guard he had 'slapped' could have been lying, but I can't tell." He tilts his head, thinking before sighing again and sitting down on a chair, facing Thomas across his desk.

"So," I started, raising an eyebrow at the Major. "Any news on Hamilton? Anything worth speaking of?" I tried not to sound too eager to know more about the man. I merely despised him and wanted to know if any little information could help him with the man's demise in the near future.

Yes. That's it.

James dug through the coat he was wearing, muttering, and brought out some papers, passing them to Thomas. "Only this, Tom. Not much but a few sightings of Scouts more to the East side of the land. It seems to me and the rest of the Scouts we have that they are attempting to expand territory, or maybe to take out the rogues spotted around there."

I had scowled at the nickname but looked up at him, a bit surprised. "Hamilton? Dealing with rogues?"

My friend nodded, a tad surprised as well. "It appears so, Tom."

I sighed but jumped up as I heard yelling, looking at James with wide eyes before practically jumping over my desk, ducking under the tent flap and jogging over to the commotion.

I looked back to see James following hurriedly behind, cursing and pointing ahead. I looked up and saw a woman being thrown to the ground and people cheering, blood everywhere.

"What'd I miss?" I called out, the people immediately stopping and backing away quickly. I spotted the Leader of the Scouts and walked over to him, my long legs getting me there quickly.

Eacker looked up at me and I nodded at him to speak, letting out a breath. "Sir, we captured a rogue! Found her in the East side and brought her here." He said, pointing the the bloodied woman.

"Her?" I asked incredulously, looking down at him with wide eyes. "This day is full of surprises, ain't it." I muttered to myself, looking at the woman. It was a young lady in a deep red dress, curly and dark brown hair swept to the side and a shade lighter skin. She had seemed to be passed out but coughed, startling James, who had knelt down to check her pulse.

"Why is there so much blood?" I asked, looking back at the Scout.

Eacker nervously rubbed the back of his neck, thinking of the right words. "My men...were a bit too excited, capturing a rogue and all."
