Here we bring ourselves to the Second in Command, James Madison.
Now, when we left off with him, he had found out the rogue had escaped, back in 'Chapter Two...Lady In Red'. Since he was entrusted to be the caretaker for the rogue, he couldn't tell Thomas, he would let him down. He couldn't do that, there was too much stress on his shoulders already, ruling a kingdom and all.
So, James decides on something he would never normally do.
He would go by himself, into the forest, to search for the missing Lady In Red.

It was getting close to dusk as I made my way into the forest, almost tripping on a low hanging limb. I huffed as I took off the jacket I had put back on and wrapped it around my waist, not use to this sort of thing.
And what is this sort of thing? Chasing a missing rogue that has escaped under my observation, fooling me? Yeah, so not my thing.
I scanned the area, spotting scraps of red fabric flowing on sharp sticks, squinting.
"I can't believe I'm doing this," I murmur to myself. "Tom is going to be so pissed when I get back," I stopped for a second, thinking. "If I get back. Yeah, that's more likely." I thought bitterly, still trudging through the woods, muttering.
I spot a flash of red duck behind a tree and still myself, not moving. "Hello?" I call out, hoping it was the rogue, and that she was alone. Oh God this was so stupid-
The Lady peeked out from behind the tree and I gasped a little, tilting my head. Her face was bloodied again, yet I didn't know why.
As I was thinking, I didn't notice her start to run in the opposite direction.
"H-Hey! Wait-!" I called out, running and soon breathing heavily, trying to catch up to the rogue. "Come back!"

I sighed as I let my feet rest on my desk, leaning back slightly in my chair. George Eacker stood at the other side of the desk, awaiting orders.
"Be a dear and go fetch Madison, would you?" I smirked a little, going back into my old charm. Eacker rolled his eyes, walking out of the tent. It was a good ten minutes before he came back, panting a little.
"The last person to see Madison was Seabury, who claims to see him walk off towards the tree line. I have also checked where the rogue was being held, she is not there." He looked down at his feet, scared.
Hearing the news I removed my feet and got up, moving around the desk. "Tell the people to lock in a little early, you're coming with me." When I see he didn't move I growled. "Go!" I barked, getting impatient.
Eacker quickly ran off, shouting orders to Seabury who locked the horses up, trying to calm them down. Eacker then arrived a few minutes later, nodding at me to go ahead. I sighed, tugging a hand through my curly hair and stepping through the tree line, looking up and seeing the darkness spreading quickly. "Better hurry, follow along. Don't get lost." I commanded, stepping over limbs and logs quickly.
I heard Eacker huff before I heard a faint yell from up ahead. Well, that was quick. I looked over at Eacker once again before sprinting off, easily jumping over rocks and sticks, hearing the Scout Leader struggle slightly behind.
